Shepard pulled the skirt of her high school uniform down. It was a windy day and it was always flying up – how embarrassing! It was lunch time, so she went up to the roof. Garrus was there, devilishly handsome in his uniform, scanning the school grounds below with his mysterious glasses. Even though he was an year below Shepard, he looked more mature than she did.
"Garrus-kun!"

"Ah, Shepard-senpai!" He said, turning back. She could only really see one of his deep blue eyes, but she didn't care. Garrus-kun was amazing!

"Erm, Shepard-senpai… Don't look now, but I think there is someone following you."

"Eh?!" Shepard turned back and saw Kaidan near the roof entrance. Even though he was on the other side of the roof, he looked pretty embarrassed. Kaidan and she had been on the same school since kindergarten, but each time she tried to speak to him, he would turn red and not say a word. He sit on the ground, by the shade and started unpacking his bento box. It was navy blue with little silver wings. Kawaii!

"Nee, Garrus-kun… Is he pretending not to see us?"

Garrus adjusted his glasses. "By my analysis of the situation, he surely must have followed you here in hope of either being near you or gathering enough courage to share his kawaii obento with you! But, alas for him, I must have been a nuisance in his schedule."

"Ga-Garrus-kun! It can't be! Kaidan-kun and I have known each other since kindergarten!"

"Shepard-senpai…" Garrus looked really deeply into Shepard's eyes. "Forgive the insubordination, but listen to what your kouhai has to say. You can be a brilliant student, but you are really obnoxious in some things. This is one of them."

"Garrus-kun…"

"Alenko is a good person, Shepard-senpai… He always helps Liara-sensei after History class."

"But everyone thinks he likes Liara-sensei because of that…"

""Everyone" don't have my accuracy, Shepard-senpai. I've actually seen both Alenko AND Liara-sensei looking at you the same way. She even turns into a pretty shade of purple sometimes."

"Garrus-kun… If what you're saying is true…" Shepard looked at Kaidan. He looked so sad and lonely, eating by himself. She turned back to Garrus and smiled "Sometimes, I wonder who's really the senpai! Garrus-kun, you may be younger than me, but you're so much cooler!"

"There, there, Shepard-senpai, you're still my senior… But I'll leave you now, I'm sure you have more important things to take care right now. Have a nice lunch!"

Garrus left Shepard on the roof. He and Kaidan looked at each other for a split second when they crossed each other, but didn't say a word. Badassly.
