Author's Note:I swear, I will make a better Sekaiichi fic this summer. I just did this because…I don't know, just because. Let's just say that I'm stalling you so that you won't get so impatient before summertime [in the Philippines].
Disclaimer:I would have liked [scratch that – LOVED] to own Seakiichi Hatuskoi. But sadly, I don't.
What's In A Name?
This is work. This is work. This is work,Ritsu assured himself as he waited for Takano-san to get out of the kitchen.
Yes, Ritsu was in Takano's apartment again. It wasn't anyone's fault, really. Ritsu was a newbie in Marukawa and he wanted to show everyone he was good in editing shoujo manga just as good as he can edit literature. But when he found out that Takano-san and his ex-lover Saga-senpai were the same person…it didn't really do much to boost his morale.
"What's your problem now?" Takano asked in a bored voice as he walked out of his kitchen. He sat beside Ritsu.
"Um…" Ritsu had no idea why he was blushing. At the very least, he tried his best to stay in the same spot.
"Spit it out already! I have more things to do with my time than to tutor a newbie!"
That snapped Ritsu back to his senses. "H-Hai! Um, well…" He showed Takano the storyboards he was editing.
Takano took a few seconds to analyze before shouting, "I do nottolerate half-assed work, Onodera!"
"That's why I came here to ask you!" Ritsu snapped back. Deep inside though, he was relieved. Takano-san had called him 'Onodera' - good sign that there won't be such scenes tonight.
Ritsu hadn't noticed how long he had spaced out until Takano whacked him on the head with the storyboards. "Oi, Onodera!"
Ritsu flinched. "Hai?"
"Were you listening?"
"Uh…Hai!"
"Well then, I guess we're done here." Takano shoved the storyboards towards Ritsu.
Ritsu was surprised. "W-We are?"
"Of course." Takano threw him a suspicious look. "Unless…you weren'tlistening at all?"
Ritsu bowed hastily. "Thank you very much." Then made a quick break to his apartment. Yes, he wasn't listening. Yes, he had no idea what to do. Yes, he didn't want to push his luck. And yes he would just have to ask Kisa the next day.

"If you need any more help, ask me," Takano said.
"…Alright."
It was already evening the next day. Ritsu was hoping he wouldn't be going home with his boss but…They wereneighbors. It would be a miracle if they didn't see each other now that they work for the same company.
The elevator doors closed, locking the both of them in. Ritsu kept looking straight ahead. He was fully aware that he was on the elevator…alone…with Takano-san beside him…at midnight…with the possibility of-
Stop it!Ritsu scolded himself as they got out of the elevator. He reached into his bag for his apartment key. You don't just think like that! Besides, he's been calling youOnodera the whole day.He unlocked the door and got in. Nothing's gonna happen.
The door shut behind him. "Ritsu."
This can't be happening.
Ritsu turned around and instantly got pinned to the floor.
Unbelievable.
"T-Takano-san!" Ritsu screamed. "I still have work to do!"
"I have more work than you. And if I can handle it, so can you!"
"W-WAIT! You don't tolerate half-assed work, right?"
"I don't," Takano-san agreed, smiling smugly. "And if I'm going to leave you pinned to the floor like this, that would be a half-assed work for me now, would it?"
Author's Note:Yes, I know it's shorter than my other Sekaiichi fic. I'm sorry but I'm really trying to keep my grades up so this is the best I can do at the moment. I promise I'd do a better one this summer break. :)
