Half a heart
PROLOGUE
For years, in the little world of Minecraft, it was all about building and surviving the mobs. Day in and day out, you'd either build something or slay some zombies trying to kill you. It was this same routine until one day, a man with a beard stepped up and announced things were going to change. His name was Jeb, and with his few words, the whole world of Minecraft changed.
He, and his team, one day, came to the center of the world. Millions of Minecraftians attended the ceremony and were eager to hear his words.
"Dear citizens!" He said, "Dear citizens! And… Notch..."
The crowd giggled.
Jeb continued, "We have gathered here for a few changes; First off, Notch will step down and let me take over."
The crowd was shocked to hear this.
"Yes; It's time to have some changes around here."
Jeb continued talking about the boring new blocks that were going to take place, he continued to speak the future of the Minecraft world; Until one final major update.
"I am proud to say that me and the others thought of this. This was, of-course, my ingenious idea… We are going to have an annual PvP battle amongst us. But this is not like any 'simple' PvP match where you deal damage and regen health; There is a twist…" He spoke, grinning.
The crowd wondered and pondered ideas that Jeb might utter. Soon the answer was revealed.
"This time, There will be NO HEALTH REGENERATION!"
The crowd jumped up in shock, some of them danced, unable to control their excitement.
"Yes; yes. I know you're all shocked or excited or fainted. But this is the deal. If you participate, and you die, you're out. If you participate and you're the last man standing: You're the winner. Guess what's the prize! A STACK OF DIAMOND BLOCKS."
The crowd jumped up in happiness; especially the poor ones, who are very unlucky in the mines.
"You've got one week to prepare for the first battle. Meet us right here, at 0,0."
And so began the ultimate legacy of what has become to be known as: ULTRA HARDCORE
