A/N- All right, I am an admitted Harry Potter geek, but here is my try for Twilight one-shot. I thought it is be hysterical to see Emmett try to wrap a package, and go shopping for Bella.
I grumbled to myself as I prowled through the mall. This sort of hunting was not my specialty. I preferred grizzlies, especially the angry ones- they were more fun. This was not fun. I was searching for a gift for my future sister in-law, Bella. I proceeded down the isles of Macy's searching for the perfect gift. Blender? No. She would kill herself. I chuckled to myself as I pictured Bella, a notorious klutz, attempt to use the machine. It was not pretty, and it involved a lot of blood. I winced. Not a good idea. Edward would have a fit.
I strolled through the glassware department, and found myself laughing again. I distinctly remembered Bella's last encounter with glass. Edward had leaped across the room, to save her from Jasper when she had cut her finger by accident, opening up her birthday present. He has propelled her back ward and into a glass punch bowl. No, glassware would not be a smart choice.
I skirted the woman's section, giving it as wide a berth as possible. Lacy undergarments did nothing for me. Unless of course they are on Rosalie, I thought to myself, but then shook my head to get the thoughts out. Not right now, I reminded myself. Get a present for Bella. Right. That is why I was there in the first place. Rosalie had kicked me out, until I had fetched a present for the wedding. Rosalie hated being unprepared, and thought that if I was unprepared, it would reflect badly upon her. She, of course, already had her present for Bella, though even I was not allowed to know what it was.
Through the to the perfume section I trekked, thinking perhaps of getting her a little vial of the stuff. I made my way to the counter, before realizing that Edward would be livid. It would cover up her smell, which was always so important to the both of them. Then, an idea struck me. I know exactly what to get her! I grinned to myself as I left the store. What I wanted to get her was not in Macy's.
What I got her definitely would earn me a beating from Edward, but it would totally be worth it, and I knew Bella would love it. I wrapped it carefully in silver tissue paper, and then placed it in a small black box. I signed the card I got for her and then laughed, because inside the box rested a tiny pair of plastic vampire fangs. Perfect.
