in this story people like rue and fox face faked their deaths since their mentors told them what to do and the rebellion had people in the game makers room to shoot their cannon .
they would get transported to district thirteen to try and stay safe since they hadn't killed anyone and they helped protect Katniss (well fox face didn't kill her) this story also starts when Katniss wakes in district thirteen.
i wake up with a thumping headache and i try to decipher all the objects around me as they are fuzzy.i push myself up only to fall back down again and i finally start hearing voices.
"we cant tell her yet"said a deep male voice
but its the only way shell agree"said another
"it will kill her to know whats happened to Peeta"
"but she'll be over joyed to know about rue"
she slowly started walking towards the voices and she picks up a needle just in case
"what about rue"she asked after finding out that the voices belonged to Plutarch Heavensbee ,Finnick Odair and Haymitch to her surprise didn't look to be drunk
"shes alive"said Haymitch
"WHAT!"she shouted "its not possible why would you say that?"
"its true you know "replied Finnick
"well then if its true where is she "trying to sound as calm as possible
they took her to a a big room with loads of computer screens she turns and sees a slightly older rue

"Katniss its ok im real"Rue said
"wait wheres Peeta ?"Katniss finally asked
