One day Ash saw a bird pokemon. Ash knew he just had to catch it. He heard a sound which startled the bird and it flew away. "Hey Pikachu, heard that?" Ash asked his mouse buddy. "Pikachu," Pikachu said. The sound then started repeating. Pikachu and Ash followed the sound and saw a fire pokemon.
A small baby dragon with a candle like tail appeared and was yelling, "Char! Char! Char!" Ash and Pikachu looked at each other. Charmander saw Ash and Pikachu and he showed them a note. It said
This is my Charmander, Blaze
He's no good at battling but you can keep him as a pet or something

Ash and Pikachu were very mad. They think trainers who abandons their pokemon are true jerks. "Come on buddy, I'll be your trainer Blaze," Ash said smiling. "Char?" Blaze said. Ash held out his hand. Blaze was not so trusting at first but then held Ash's hand. "Pikachu!" Pikachu said smiling!
Charmander then fainted. "Gah!" Ash said. "We got to take him to the pokemon center!" Ash said. Ash looked around and saw a pokemon center. "Let's go!" Ash said, "Pika!" Pikachu said in agreeing tone.
Ash ran as fast as he can he didn't want it to be too late for him and his new pokemon.
