Rin Okumura was reading manga. Specifically, Fairy Tail, by Hiro Mashima. He was hiding said manga book behind the textbook he should be looking at. Rin wondered what would happen if Natsu were to eat his flames.
Then he began to fantasize about being a member of Fairy Tail. It would be so much fun! No one would know of his heritage, there would be lots of partying and fighting, and going on missions!
~Daydream~
"What can I do for you?" asks Mira.
"I want to join Fairy Tail!" Rin says.
"Alright, where would you like your stamp? And what color?"
"Light blue, and I want it here, on my abdomen," Rin points.
"There you go! Congratulations!"
"Awesome!"
And Then...
"Hey Rin! Fight with me!" Natsu shouts.
"Alright!" Rin pulls out his sword and is engulfed in blue flames.
"Wow! Can I eat them?"
And then...
"Hey, we kind of look alike." Rin says.
"Hm... Nah, I''m not seein' it." Gray replies.
"You two do look a lot alike, actually," Lucy says.
Then Juvia jumps in, "G-Gray-sama! Your clothes!"
"No way! Where'd they go?!" Gray yells frantically.
And then...
"Erza! I challenge you to a sword fight!" Rin declares, pointing at Erza, who is eating strawberry cake. Erza gets up slowly and Rin smirks.
*3 seconds later*
Rin is unconscious on the floor, and Erza is exquipping from her Flame Empress armor back into her regular Heart Kreuz armor.
"You shouldn't have challenged Erza, Rin," Happy helpfully puts in.
Rin could imagine himself joining in on bar fights, and making a team to go on missions with...
"Nii-san!"
A pair of hands slaps Rin's desk, startling him from his dream.
"Yukio..?"
"Tch! Don't read manga in my class! I'll be taking that."
Yukio pulls the manga from Rin with some protest from the elder and then continues teaching his lesson.
"Stupid slacker.." Bon mumbles.
"Rin, you really should pay attention." Shiemi whispers to him.
Rin looks away and pouts, his tail swishing side to side impatiently for class to end.
-Later that night-
Rin opens the door to his shared room. "Hey Yukio, I'm home... What the hell?! You hypocrite! You're reading my manga! And after you told me I couldn't!"
Yukio pushes up his glasses, "I'm not a hypocrite. You were reading it in class, this is after school. Besides you read my manga all the time."
"I don't care, just give it back! I need to know what happens!" Rin says, trying to reach for it.
"Well, I'll tell you. Natsu eats the-"
"No! Nononono! Spoilers!" Rin covers his ears and begins screaming to block out Yukio.
"-and then he defeats-"
Rin screams louder.
"Alright, nii-san! You can stop," Yukio says.
Silence ensues for a few moments as they stare at each other, daring either to do something.
"Erza and Jellal-" Yukio begins.
"Say one more word and I swear I'll set this whole room on fire."
