Patricia. Fabian thought, dumbstruck. His eyes were riveted to the image displayed on his laptop. A person with red eyes…he knew he hadn't been hallucinating when he saw her eyes earlier.

When he stopped to think about it, he had felt a little uneasy around her lately, though he wasn't sure why that was. She looked the same, acted the same. But there was something off about her, and he was frustrated by how much this was bothering him.

Plus, certain things just didn't add up. Patricia tended to wander off by herself nowadays, even though Eddie advised them to stick together. And Fabian had been observant of the growing antagonism between the female Sibunas.

Now he had found KT's parcel hidden under Patricia's bed, which didn't sit well with him. What was it doing there? What did Patricia want with it? Yet he had been the one who had opened it, and he felt guilty for doing so.

He would've entrusted his life to Patricia and he was sure she would've done the same for him. He didn't wanna believe that one of his oldest friends would willingly betray them all, but he couldn't forget seeing that unearthly glow. It was important that he warn Eddie and Alfie.

He let his mind drift to KT then. She had been so sure that she wasn't the betrayer, but he was just as confident that she was. He had blamed her for the smashed phonograph and also accused her of being like Frobisher.

Oh, how wrong he was! He should've listened to KT. But she had left and it was partly his fault. What if she never forgave him?

She was now alone out there, he realised with a shiver. What if Frobisher and Denby had managed to trap her in a sarcophagus? He'd never forgive himself if that had happened.

The words find KT echoed in his mind like a mantra. He had to make sure that she was safe.

He also needed to reconvene the remaining Sibunas (sans Patricia) and recover the other two artefacts. But they didn't know what Patricia's rhyme was, and asking her was out of the question.

Perhaps Piper would know. he reminded himself. It was a strong possibility that she remembered the nursery rhyme too. Perhaps he could convince Eddie to contact her.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the door opening. A flicker of hope entered his heart. Perhaps KT had come back! He hoped so, because he had so many apologies to give to her.

But the person who had stepped in the room was male, and was wearing a grey three-piece suit. Fabian's pulse quickened once he realised who this man was.

It was Robert Frobisher-Smythe.
