A Note- I just had this spontaneous idea when I was studying and I had to go through with this. Review for Nowhere-land!
They were fighting. For their home, for Hogwarts.
Remus tried his best to edge his hand closer to Dora's and saw, no felt her do the same. Just another inch and they would be together again. Moony and Tonks. What an odd match.
His lips twitched as he remembered them philosophising about a new world in number 12 Grimmauld place, under the influence of firewhiskey. The nowhere-land.
"Nowhere-land. There won't be any wars there Re-mus!" She'd giggled, hissing his name out.
"No there won't," he said as though it were obvious, "there will be green skies and blue grass, oh and chocolate, don't forget that!" The firewhisky had definitely done a good job of loosening him out.
"Also, firewhisky would be free!"
"Don't tell Molly I said that but I won't allow Celestina Warbeck in there. Not on my my life."
"What about the weird sisters?" She asked, gesturing at her rugged black t-shirt.
"Oh they're allowed. Just no Celestina Warbeck."
The fire had died out, leaving red hot cinders in its wake. Tonks' hair, he noticed were slowly turning into a greenish/blue hue. She looked so, innocent, so, so childish. They were both being so childish.
They laughed once again, lost in the imaginings of their nowhere-land. It would be a fair land, with Kingsley as their leader (Tonks had suggested Sirius but was won over with Kingsley) and werewolves wouldn't exist. They simply wouldn't. Remus would be human, as human as anyone else. There would be no blood purity, better yet, they'd live with Muggles. Especially with those who made music. He'd live there with Tonks, in a small, odd little house with yellow walls and red curtains.
Often, when he'd have nothing to do (which was a rare feat in itself nowadays) his mind would slip into the wonderful nowhere-land. Away from the war, away from his condition, just him and Dora in the yellow house.
Bellatrix's spell hit Dora and before he could blink she was gone. His Tonks, his brave, beautiful Tonks gone. He could see her war-red hair fading to its usual brown. Now Teddy won't have a mum. But more importantly, Moony wouldn't have Tonks. His light in the dark.
He kept looking at Tonks, shootings glances at her fallen form. After months of casting only protective spells, his once perfect defence had gone rusty. He didn't even flinch as he saw a streak of purple light rushing towards him.
Pain. Searing, mind numbing pain. He was being torn apart. He fell, right next to Dora. He carefully lodged her hand in his, even if it was the last he ever did.
Nowhere-land, the place Dora had gone to,the place he was going to go. Nowhere-land with it's blue grass and green skies. Where everyone would be free.
Nowhere-land, the residence of Messr. Moony and Nymphadora (Tonks).
