There to Here and Back Again
Summary: The small companion piece to There to Here and Back

Ginny had been thumbing lightly through her journal for what seemed like hours. She had been keeping this journal since she had started learning to write. Most of the entries were quite amusing, but others were just the opposite. Her gaze landed on an entry from September of 2004 and she felt her eyes well up with tears. It had been a hard time. She was just finishing up a two year long distance relationship with Draco only to find out that her reunion would have to be postponed for a couple of more years.
She sighed and wiped the tears from her face. She picked up her quill and tickled her nose with the feather as she thought about what to write. She knew she had to write something, the entry was just too sad to leave it like that. After all there had been wondrous changes since she wrote that.
There to here and back again
we came we saw and conquered
Life and death and love everlasting
were amongst the things most pondered
Yet still we see a road ahead
stretching on and on and on
Leading us into the glorious light
of the breaking dawn.
Our life had shown with the glory
In a quest of your's and mine
After three long years picking up the gauntlet
We have passed a test of time
There to here and back again
We might see the end of the road
But we are eager to start out again
with a light and happy load

Ginny smiled as she set down her quill again and read what she had wrote. Truly she was happy now. Now that Draco was home.
Okay, people. I hope you enjoyed this. There was a huge reason why I didn't write it sooner. This story was a huge case of art immitating life. Ha!
