Day 1 (3 hours after kidnapping)
Mnt. Justice
Batman clenched his fists and resisted the urge to run back to the other room and yell at the Young Justice league. It took everything to hold his composure while they explained what happened. The mission was relatively easy, get in arrest the enemy and get out, the last thing they expected was for them to gang up and go after one individual in the group. Their target was Robin.
Sneaking in was easy but when they attacked was when everything began to fall apart. They were spread out while fighting and didn't notice it at first but there enemy soon began to slowly surround Robin. Me'gann noticed and sent out a warning through their link and the team regrouped so they were back to back with Robin.
Their chaotic form of fighting made the warehouse shake and weakened the support beams that were layered in the ceiling. Superboy heard a crack and looked up to see one of the beams fall down towards the young boy wonder. He called out to his friend and Robin looked back just as the beam crashed into him, pinning his arms and chest to the ground.
Artemis and Kidflash went to their comrade and saw blood leaking out a gash on his head. Robin groaned as the two tried to lift the beam off of his small frame. A malicious laugh filled the air and it filled up with smoke knocking the team out.
They had woken up to find Robin missing and any trace of him gone. They searched around for almost an hour before they called back to Mnt. Justice to report on their mission.
After a brief discussion with the Justice League, Batman arrived back at the batcave. Alfred greeted him and then frowned.
"Will Master Richard not be joining us tonight?" Batman sighed and pulled the cowl off of his head.
"He's been kidnapped, most likely by the Joker," Batman sighed and sat down in front of the computer for what will be a long night. He hunched over and began typing furiously to find a trace on his son. Alfred shook his head sadly and left.
Robin woke up to water being splashed in his face. Coughing he looked up and winced as his head throbbed, metal cuffs rubbed at his wrists and his legs barely touched the ground.
"Morning little birdie!" Robin almost rolled his eyes at the Joker's smile. He shivered involuntarily and looked down to see that he was wearing a thin t-shirt and sweats. His mask was missing too along with all of his gear. Robin frowned and looked back to the Joker.
"What do you want now?" he tried to act nonchalant but it came out in a growl and the Joker laughed. The madman walked over to a table and picked up a leather belt.
"Me? Why nothing at all~" Robin tried not to wince as the belt slapped down hard on his chest. "You just need to disappear for a while, and when they find you our poor little birdie won't be able to fly anymore."
The Joker laughed and left Robin hanging in the dark room with wide eyes.
"What do you mean?" Robin whispered to the darkness as a gas filled the room and he once again fell unconscious.
Okay this chapter absolutely sucks, but that is because I wrote it on the bus and have finals to deal with so please don't criticize it for the OOCness and the absolute horror of how badly I screwed things up.
so please be nice my fellow humans.
