Mine
~~~~~~
He stuffs his hands into his coat. Why does he waste his time? He could get rid of them easily, He still has his mind. Except maybe the bite-sized one. She gets him every time.
He'll never kill her. The only one he dares call 'friend'. Her honey-like love, Never wavers, never bends. The rest of them should watch it. He'll show them their ends.
She needs them for now. So he can wait if he has to. And as much as he hates it, He has nothing better to do. But as soon at that happens, He'll definately be through.
He wants to jump up and yell, "Get off my back! I'm doing all I bloody well can!" He may as well burn himself in a sack. Because they'll get that look, And it'll be days before he's welcome back.
So he rings the bell, And he finds her there. So innocent and pure, He can't touch her, and wouldn't dare. An unclean thing like him Shouldn't be able to brush her hair.
Since when has that stopped him? She says he's always welcome to. He greets Nibblet with a smile, And she's invited him in too. He's still somewhat worried Of what her big sis might do.
She pulls him to the kitchen, Grabs the cocoa and marshmallows. He pulls out a necklace, He stole it off some fellow. She gasps, setting down her mug, Reaching for it shakily, her jaw turns to jello.
The teardrop emerald goes perfect with her eyes, And it's silver like she preffers. But he starts to hear footsteps And gets concerned. Big sister's come home, He doubts she'd be deterred.
He kisses her on the cheek And out the door he flys. The necklace goes in her pocket, Through the gate he dives. He looks between the fence And wispers, "Mine."
