Richter Belmont and Ken Masters were finishing their match with each other on the battlefield version of the sunny Wuhu Island stage, while Dry Bowser and Toadette were watching on the sandy beach as the bony reptile was grilling some bugers while the mushroom girl stuffed herself with it, the day all around being beautiful.
"I can see that your fighting style compliments you well!" Richter said as he was whipping Ken.
"Ha, thanks! You're no slouch either with that whip!" Ken responded to Richter as he kicked the whip away.
"Maybe later you want to just, y'know, hang out?"
"I would like that very much! Maybe we can even beat up a car like I used to do with Ryu!"
"That sounds exciting, but I'm not exactly sure what this car is."
Dry Bowser brushed back his hair as he flipped his burgers with his spatula. "Ugh, they sound like they're going on a date."
"Come on DB, they just really like each other!" Toadette responded as she burped loudly after eating her juicy burger, "Can't you see that friends are just really in touch with each other?"
"...You don't act like that around me that much." Dry Bowser murmured as he rubbed his chin.
Richter and Ken finished their match as they spotted the lookalikes on the sandy shore, dashing up to them as they decided to hang out since they too were echoing well known iconic video game characters.
"So, I take it that you're themed after that monster right?" Richter asked as he posed.
"My idiot of a relative? Unfortunately yes." Dry Bowser sighed as he flipped his burgers once more.
Ken smirked as he pointed. "And I'm going to guess you're like the mushroom that those princesses pull out."
"Aww, is it that obvious?" Toadette giggled as she brushed her pink mushroom pigtails.
Richter placed his hands on his hips. "How about we hang out together? We're all similar to our bases."
"Yeah, we may be clones but we have our unique charms!" Ken added as he gave a thumbs up.
Dry Bowser took a taste of one of his hot burgers right from the grill. "Perhaps I'm not that sure, but if you're fine with it-"
"OMG yes I would love to hang out with fellow beings who might feel a bit samey but are different enough!" Toadette chimed as she shook the hands of both Mr. Belmon and Mr. Masters, with the excited mushroom girl continuing to gleefully clamor as she couldn't stop herself.
Dry Bowser shrugged as he shook his head. "Well I guess that confirms a hang out. Let me just finish these burgers."
