Jacob walked up the steps leading into his home. He silently opened the door wanting to surprise his girlfriend. But as he stepped in,he heard two voices laughing. One he easily recognized but the other...sounded like a man. Jacob quietly took off his shoes and walked up the staircase and further down the main hall until he reached the master bedroom. And what he heard shocked him
"You know you can't stay much longer...he'll be back soon and I don't want us to get caught" said Bella,the only love he ever had.
"Why haven't you left him already? We've been talking and meeting each other for 2 months now. We both know you love me more then him"
"Babe I do,but...he's just so sweet I don't want to tell hi-"
"Tell me what exactly?" said Jacob barging in the door
Bella quickly tried to cover herself up but to no avail. Jacob looked at the man and was thrown back with shock. Edward,someone he hoped he never see again, was looking at him with annoyance without even bothering to try and explain.
"Jacob look I know you're surprised by this but I can ex-" at this word Jacob quickly interrupted what he knew was going to be nothing but lies and half truths
"Bella...why?" Jacob said
"After everything we've been through...all the late nights I've spent taking you where ever you wanted to go...all the times we hugged,kissed,and laughed together...you go back to him?!?" He said in a accusing tone
"Who was there before him? Who was there when this idiot almost got you killed? Who was there when HE LEFT YOU FOR 12 FUCKING YEARS!??!?" Jacob yelled. Suddenly his shoulders drooped and his tone dropped
"It was me Bella...In my entire life I've loved you and only you...you told me you felt the same way...that he was out of your heart for good...I thought you loved me…"
"Then why did you stay out so late last night,what were you doing?" accused Bella
"I was looking for this…" with these words said Jacob pulled a black box from his pocket. In was a ring,with a brilliant white diamond shaped into a crescent moon as the centerpiece and gray,stormy pearls surrounding it.
Without another word Jacob Black rose and shot the both of them,Bella and Edward,with the coldest look he could muster and left the house...
