Hey guys! I know I've only posted one other story, and it was total absolute Percabeth fluff. This is the exact opposite. Kind of. Sort of. It's more of a mother/son story. Sally. Gods, I love her so much. Anyway, this is more of a head cannon or drabble, so please feel free to elaborate on it in any way.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I still don't own the PJO franchise. Sigh.
Percy dialed the number. "Mom."
Sally sighed in relief. "Per-"
"Mommy." His voice broke. "Mom, she's...she's..."
He finally broke down. This was his mother. He didn't care if both camps were watching, which they were. He could break down if he wanted to. This was the only other person who he knew would love him no matter what.
The other was unavailable.
And so he cried and Sally listened and murmured over the phone, "I love you. I love you. I love you." Over and over again.
Because she knew things weren't okay.
They would never be okay again.
