So this is just a quick one shot. I've had it in mind for a while and in getting around to all the one shots I've had in mind. S. I hope you like it :)
Nothing A Kiss Can't Fix
It was the way his body leaned when the suit came off that she knew he was hurt. Of course the giant gash on his cheek was an obvious indicator as well. She didn't realize the way her emotions were showing on her face until he walked over to her and said, "Don't give me that look."
"You said you wouldn't get hurt." She said looking over the skin that was visible for any more injuries.
"Hey it's just a cut and a bruised rib, it's nothing a kiss can't fix." Tony replied with a grin.
Despite what Pepper felt seeing him hurt she had to smile and wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a long sweet kiss.
"See I feel better already." He said with a smile. Pepper gently touched the left side that he had been trying to protect and heard Tony wince. "Well maybe some ice wouldn't hurt." He said sheepishly.
"That's what I thought." She led him upstairs and grabbed an ice pack and small hand towel to wrap the ice in. "Sit." She ordered pointing to the couch. Tony obeyed and Pepper lifted up his shirt and was about to reprimand him when she caught his gaze and closed her mouth and gently laid the ice on the black and blue spot. "I'll be back with Tylenol and some stuff to clean up your cheek."
"Can I maybe get another kiss, you know, just to help with the pain until you get some meds." He winced as he shifted. Pepper gave him another kiss and set out to get the other things from the bathroom.
Once she returned and gave Tony the medicine and cleaned off the blood he said with a grin, "See, I told you it wasn't anything a kiss couldn't fix."
She just laughed but still playfully punched his shoulder. He smiled and pulled her down for another kiss being mindful of his injury.
