Half LifeChapter 1: She's Back
Jake's POVHave you ever had a friend that left you forever ago and you want them to come back but when they do you're stupid werewolf-ness takes over?
That's how it is with me, my best friend Dixie….I was hanging out with Bella and those annoying bloodsuckers when I saw a flash of complete black come bounding at the door…and then the doorbell rang. The big vampire went to get it considering he was closet and then this happened…A petite blonde girl walked in (only I could recognize those dang yellow eyes) and then my mind went into complete overload…..all these thoughts got jumbled as I realized that I was in love with my old best friend.
No one's POV"Dixie!" came the shout from Emmett as he grabbed the poor girl in a bear hug and swung her around like a rag doll.
"Put me down Emmett, I can't breathe with your muscles blocking its path" Dixie said even though she was smiling. Dixie turned slightly to try and find Jasper when she saw Jacob, her real best friend but something was different maybe that stupid bitch hanging on his arm, she thought. Dixie already knew that she had imprinted on her best friend but it was hard to tell what Bella was doing with her Jacob.
"Where's Jasper?" Dixie asked pretending she didn't see Jacob. Just as she asked the wide-eyed vampire bounded down the stairs and stopped dead in front of her.
"Right here…. Hey." Jasper said grinning and then gave Dixie a hug surprising everyone in the room but her.
"DIXIE?" Jacob asked finally getting up from where he sat…the girl turned slightly but didn't say anything…she just wanted to ask something from Emmett and Jasper and then go back to Norway where she belonged. Most of the vampires realized that they should leave so they began to move out of the room. Emmett gave Jacob a death glare but moved on too.
"Um…yes? What?" Dixie asked trying to avoid eye contact with Jacob.
"Well, what are you doing here? I thought you moved to Norway" Dixie shrugged, she couldn't tell Jake everything because it would hurt him and get him really pissed off at her.
"I just had a question for Emmett and Jasper but considering the fact that they left me standing here I have to go find them again"
"Wait, Dixie um I have an important question."
"and what would that be?" Dixie asked raising her eyebrows. To her her question was ten times more important then Jake's but she would have to answer his before she got her own answer.
"Are you a werewolf?"
"NO! what make you say that anyway I have to leave in like ten minutes so if you'll excuse me" Dixie pushed past Jake and walked into Emmett's room. Both Jasper and Emmett looked up.
"What do you need?" Jasper asked looking at her.
"Well I want to know why when I talk to Memphis, why does she talk back? Or is that in my head from being able to read minds of everyone including all my horses and dogs?"
"It's probably what you got from being part vampire because being part werewolf enhances that ability since you can read other wolves minds when you shift into being a wolf" Emmett said shrugging. He usually found a way to look up this kind of stuff in his dad's office so he knew a lot more about Dixie then Dixie did herself.
Jake's POV Whoa…wait Dixie's part vampire part werewolf? Has is that even possible? I'm going to find a way to convince her to tell me in person and keep my imprint here.So I hoped you like it. Please review thanksSkinnerHockey
