Sugar Glazed

This isn't the first time I have seen him, passing by, occasionally sharing an exchange of glimpse of each other.

His long, delicate strands of hair would always flood my nostrils of delightful scents of mysterious shampoo; I would quickly look away from his pearly white pupils empty from emotions, embarrassed. Clutching my books in front of my chest like a shield and I would swiftly walk pass him, speeding towards my next class while forcing back a blush.

"Hi."

"Hn."

"Hi Hinata!"

He would call out to me, waving, and giving me his signature smile, flashing his brilliant white teeth and the faint whiskers-like marks would lift up along with my mood.

"H-hello, N-naru-uto-kun!"

That was all I am able to manage, but as I raise my head, he would already be gone, running to greet others.

"Hi, Sasuke-kun!"

"Hn."

This is the simple and short conversation we would have every time the raven haired boy and I pass each other. The deep, ebony eyes, seem to have me reduced to a fraction of what I am worth, then my eyes would always catch his simple choice of clothe, it would always surprise me, merely because of how good they look on that slim, fit body of his.

"Deer."

"Troublesome pig."

I would stare him down with my fiery gaze; it's only an excuse to capture more images of his tired but handsome face. Two arms folded behind his head, one eye would be open while the other closed, giving me a yawn in response and slowly drift away from the crowd. Losing the last sight of him, I would run as fast as possible to remind myself of the perfect impression I have to keep up.
