I don't own Victorious – otherwise it would still be on tv and Cabbie would have been together after the second season.
Also, CABBIE is the pairing of Cat Valentine and Robbie Shapiro.
It didn't matter that Cat Valentine had run away from Robbie Shapiro as he tried to ask her out. It didn't matter that she was scared to ruin their friendship if she was his date to the Cow Wow. That didn't mean he all of a sudden got to ask out Gabriella, the pretty Latina girl from Vocals class that made Cat doubt she ever had a chance with Robbie at all.
Robbie on the other hand, knew he hadn't had that much of a choice. The only girl he really wanted to go with hadn't even answered, she'd just run away. I thought we were friends... But apparently not that good of friends if she ran away instead of just telling him.. So yes, he'd asked Gabriella from Vocals instead, but it wasn't like she even compared to Cat.
Cat had gotten herself all dressed up. Her velvet cupcake red hair had been tied into two ponytails with pink ribbons, and she'd gotten a pink cowgirl dress, like they always wore in Western movies. She'd had a few laughs with Beck and Jade, but as soon and Robbie and.. Gabriella.. showed up, her mood went as cold as the South Pole. Cat literally tried all she could to get his attention - she even danced with Sinjin – but he was just focused on his Latina date.
Robbie knew very well wat Cat was trying to do. As if she'd ever dance with Sinjin voluntarily, he knew her well enough to know she was kinda freaked out by Sinjin. He gave her an occasional glance, his eyes meeting hers from time to time. Robbie was just engaging in a conversation with Gabriella, when he heard a thud beside them, and a flash of pink dropped to the ground. "Cat!" He yelled, letting go of his date and running towards the redhead lying on the ground. "Oh my god, Cat, I'm so sorry!" Sinjin yelled, and Robbie couldn't help but give him an angry glare. Great work Sinjin.
Lane came to bandage up her forehead bump. "Are you alright, Cat?" "Yeah.. Just got a little forehead on my bump." Then he had a little squible with Robbie on whether Robbie was sassing him, before he left. Cat sat up slowly, and as everyone left, Robbie lingered a little before preparing to walk away too. "Wait!" She said, extending her arm to him. "Will you stay with me?"
"Why?" He asked, walking up to her, already having made her decision. "Because I asked you to." She replied simply. After a moment of silence, Cat grabbed his hand and entwined their fingers. He had a nervous smile, before softly asking, "Is my hand sweaty?" to wich Cat giggled. "Yeah.. It's like a fish!" And finally, Robbie Shapiro had the guts to make a move. "Can I tell you a secret?" "Sure!" And then, after another spell of silence, he tilted her chin up and kissed her.
