It was night time. Stars sparkling in the cloudless sky above the four people.
Hanazono Shizue was on a mission with Kanda Yu.
She was facing against two Noah's.
"So who's going to fight me one-on-one?" asked Skinn Bolic, the Noah with hatred Memory.
"Not me!" she yelled. Skinn looked at Kanda.
"Hn." Kanda held onto his Mugen with both hands.
"I'm guessing it's you… Lightning, lightning, lightning, lightning…" Skinn started to say, his body turning into a golden color with lightning falling.
"KYAAAA!" Shizue screamed, covering her ears and shutting her eyes tightly. "KYAAA~! KYAAA~!" The girl's scream was so high-pitched and loud, Kanda, Skinn and Road had to cover their ears.
"SHUT UP! LIGHTNING!" Skinn shot a lightning bolt at her, but missed because of the scream.
"KYAAA!" She screamed again, this time, hiding behind Kanda.
"What's up with you?" he yelled.
"I HATE LIGHTNING!" Shizue cried. "I HATE THEM! I HATE THEM, I HATE THEM, I HATE THEMMM~!"
"Ski~nn! Let's go back! We can't fight with her screaming!" Road suggested, yelling over the high-pitched screams.
"Erg… She ain't sweet…" Skinn agreed, his body turning back to normal. Road opened up her door and went through it, Skinn following.
When Road's door disappeared, Kanda sheathed his Mugen and turned to his partner. "Hey. Stop the screaming."
Although she only slightly heard him, she stopped the screaming and looked up at him, hands slowly leaving her ears. "Eh…?" In her eyes, tears were starting to fill up. "Is the lightning gone?" she asked in a child like tone.
"They left," he stated.
"O… Okay…" She was starting to cry.
"Next time, don't scream and fight." He suggested, starting to walk away and back to the hotel the two were staying at.
Going up to him and hugging his arm, Shizue said, "… Mm-hmm…" Kanda, not being Kanda, didn't bother yelling at her to let go because he knew she wouldn't.
"Che…"
