Vacation
Fiona was in a bad mood. She and Shrek had just had another fight in their hotel room. She'd watched as he stormed out with Puss and Donkey. She hadn't meant to be mad at him but sometimes a relationship, even marriage was rough. It was ten o clock at night and they hadn't come back yet. "I hope he's okay. When they come back, I'll sort things out with him." She thought quietly as she got into the bath full of warm water and closed her eyes. They were on holiday in Las Vegas the gambling capital of the world. Meanwhile the three amigos were at a bar in the Mirage casino
Puss was drinking his twelve bottle of milk and his voice was slurred and wasn't himself. Donkey was with Shrek. He'd been sucking down twelve or thirty glasses of Long Island Ice Tea with rum shots and was eating nuts. Puss then saw a pretty girl walk past them. "Hey senor how about that one if Fiona leaves? She looks hot!" he told Shrek. "No! She's not my type and besides Fiona wouldn't leave me even if we've been on the rocks the last couple of days." He said sternly. "Let's play some poker!" Puss said excitedly. "Good idea but first I've gotta visit the out house. I need to take a dump." Shrek said as he walked off towards the Men's room. Fiona then went to the spa to relax like any other female. Puss then saw a cage with two white tigers in it. He got an evil idea as he picked the lock, opened the door and threw Donkey in. He then saw Shrek come out of the Men's Room and walked over to him innocently. "Where's Donkey? I thought he was with you?" he asked him. "He… went back to the hotel room!" he told him smiling evilly. "That's good! He wouldn't like poker anyway since it's a man's game and he sucks at being certain things even a friend!" he said as they went to an empty table. Puss laughed as they started playing. "What's so funny?" Shrek asked him. "Nothing!" Puss said as he drank a beer. But they heard screaming and went to check it out. Some guys were carrying out a stretcher. Donkey was on it. "Oh no! I never meant for this to happen! I'm so slayed when the boss finds out but maybe he won't." Puss thought as he watched an ambulance drive off. Shrek and him then ventured out into the city and did some skateboarding. But they then came against a gang as they stopped in an alley. The guys started making fun of Shrek and were making him mad. "You'd better back off or you're dead meat! You don't wanna see me mad!" he snarled at them. Puss then lunged at them and attacked them for his buddy. But they beat Shrek up but not too seriously. He had various bruises and cuts. He had a broken arm and jaw. He then saw Puss run off. "Where's he going?" he asked himself as he started skateboarding down a hill and was preparing to grind a railing but as he did, the board slipped and he fell down five floors of steps. He was in unbearable agony. But everything went black.
Puss then ran over to him. He was frightened and tears were in his green eyes. "What've I done? First Donkey and now the boss!" he thought as he stayed by his side…
