Friday night beneath the stars

Germany looked up at the stars marveling at their beauty. "How could something so small be so beautiful?" He then looked to his left and saw Italy using his arm as a pillow looking so peaceful. "Here's another thing like the stars."

"Was, Italia?"
"Let's go play in the field outside!"
"I'm working, Italy."
"But!"
"No buts!"
Then Italy started giving him the puppy-dog eyes. Oh no.
"Uh-… fine. But only for a little-"
"yay!"
And he ran off dragging Germany with him.
When they sat down and Germany saw how beautiful it was he realized that he should say something. "Italia?"
"Ve~ What is it Doitsu?"
"Um… I-I… I think this field is wonderful. Thank you for taking me here." 'Damn' Germany thought. 'Not as I had planned.'

Italy came to Germany and started wailing. "Doitsu! France nii-chan is trying to get me!"
Germany stood up and punched France so hard he was sent straight back to France but now with a broken nose.

Germany leant in and kissed Italy on the forehead as he slept trying and failing to not wake him up.
"Ludwig?"
Germany blushed as Italy used his human name.
"Was, Feliciano?"
"Ti amo."
Ludwig froze but smiled softly as he gently kissed Feliciano on the lips.
"Ich liebe dich auch, Feliciano."
They smiled and fell asleep under the stars but not before Ludwig made one last statement: "I'm only me when I'm with you."
