I may add in Action Duels into the story but it will be without the action cards because I personally think that they're a nuisance.
A young boy no older than twelve years of age was walking down the streets of Neo Den City. The city was at the pinnacle of advancement of technology at the present age, the buildings were built to great heights and everything was high tech.
Over the years, duelling wasn't just done in the virtual world known as Link Vrains anymore, they were also decided to be brought onto the streets as well. It has been like this for a solid ten years. Not only that, but Turbo Duels and Action Duels were brought back into the mix, people had been using Speed Duels for so long the other duelling choices were almost forgotten.
The boy has straight white hair and sparkling blue eyes. He wore a tight, blue t-shirt with a loose, open, short-sleeved white vest that reaches halfway down his upper body. He had tight black jeans and white, tall combat boots.
On his left arm was his duel disk. It looked like a very futuristic duel disk that was black in colour with blue glowing lines, the end of the duel disk had spikes that curved upwards. There was also a glowing blue orb at the centre of the disk.
"Hey, Kira! You and I have some unfinished business!" A loud booming voice was heard. The boy that was walking down the street, who is now known as Kira, sighed before turning around to see a boy around his age that had his arms crossed.
"What do you want now, Jin?" Kira groaned. He had obviously known what this conversation was going to lead to and he honestly wasn't excited.
"You're going to duel me, and I'm going to win this time!" Jin stated. Kira just looked at him with a deadpan as he didn't look slightly intrigued or interested.
"Look, I may love to duel, but how many times have we duelled, and that I beat you in every single one of them," Kira stated. The boy in question then began to flail his arms around like an uncontrolled child.
"This time will be different, you'll see!" Jin shouted. Kira merely sighed at the boy who he knew wouldn't take no as an answer.
"Fine, let's get this over with," Kira said. Jin grinned as he then activated his duel disk followed by Kira, Kira's duel disk formed the actual disk where the cards are placed which had a sharp blade look to it.
They then both took out a device and placed it over their left eyes, the devices were their duel gazers. Kira's gazer was black in colour with a red lens, the gazer covered his entire left ear with a red glowing orb being where his ear should be. Jin had the default male gazer on.
Kira took out three different decks from his pocket and looked at the three of them, he then chose the right one before putting the others back into his pocket and the chosen one into the duel disk.
"Duel Gazer Set!" They both announced as the red orb on the side of Kira's gazer blinked. They faced each other before shouting.
"Now, Jin. Let's see which one of us wields the hands of destiny!"

"Before you go!" Jin declared. He then looked at his hand before picking a card and sending it to the graveyard. "I'll send my 'Maxx "C"' to the graveyard. Now, for your turn, for every monster you Special Summon, I get to draw a card."
"Alright then, let's begin. I'll start by activating the spell card 'Foolish Burial', with this I can send a monster from my deck to the graveyard, and I choose 'Glow-Up Bulb'." Kira stated. He then found the card and sent it away, he then held his hand forwards. "I now activate the effect of my 'Glow-Up Bulb' from the graveyard! I can now send the top card of my deck to the graveyard and Special Summon my bulb to the field!"
Kira stated as he sent away his top card, on the field in front of them came out Kira's monster which looked like some kind of flower. Jin then drew a card after Kira did so thanks to his previous move.

"I'll now quickly send the card I just drew to the graveyard, Kira. By doing so, I can negate the effects of your bulb!" Jin stated.
"That won't affect much. I now summon forth my Giant Rex!" Kira cried. A giant dinosaur then appeared onto the field that was brown and green in colour. "I'm not done yet though. Manifest, the circuit that will take me to my foreseen future!"
As Kira shouted those words, he held his hand up to the air as a beam shot out of his palm and formed a circuit in the sky. Civilians were now arriving watching the duel in amusement.
"Link Arrows authorized! The summoning condition is one level one monster. I set 'Glow-Up Bulb' on the bottom Link Arrow! Circuit Combine! Link Summon! Come forth, Linkuriboh!"

"Alright. I'll start this off by activating 'Dark Hole', now all the monsters on the field are destroyed." Jin declared. Linkuriboh and Giant Rex then exploded as his field became bare.
"Now, I'll set a monster face down on my field as well as two face downs. With that, I end my turn." Jin stated.

"Before you start your turn, I'll activate my face down 'Graydle Parasite'. Now, when you declare a direct attack against me, I can Special Summon a 'Graydle' monster from my deck in Attack Position when I control no monsters." Jin stated.
"Well, too bad it won't be staying for long, I activate my 'Harpies Feather Duster', to destroy all your Spell and Trap cards," Kira announced. The Spell and Trap cards on Jin's field exploded into pieces. "I'll then set a card face down, and end my turn."

"I'll activate my 'Pot of Duality', with this, I can look at the top three cards in my deck and add one of them to my hand and shuffle the other two back into the deck and unfortunately, I cannot Special Summon this turn," Jin stated. He then took three cards and held one before shuffling the other back into the deck as his face down monster was destroyed.
"I'll now set a monster face down and end my turn."

"I'll start by summoning forth my 'Souleating Oviraptor'! Since I was able to Normal Summon him to the field, I can activate its effect which allows me to take a Dinosaur-Type monster from my deck and either add it to my hand or graveyard." Kira then took a card from his deck and placed it in his hand.
"I now banish my 'Giant Rex' and 'Jurrac Aeolo' from my graveyard, by doing so, I can Special Summon my 'Ultimate Conductor Tyranno' to the field," Kira claimed. A huge black dinosaur then rose on the field.
"Hold on! When did that 'Jurrac Aeolo' make it into your graveyard!" Jin demanded.
"Isn't it obvious? The effect of my 'Glow-Up Bulb' from earlier allowed me to send the top card on my deck to the graveyard, which so happened to be my 'Jurrac Aeolo'." Kira stated as Jin's eyes widened in realisation.

"With my Level 4 'Souleating Oviraptor' and 'Giant Rex', I build the Overlay Network!" Kira called. A massive swirling vortex appeared on the ground as Kira's two monsters turned into light and entered through the centre.
"Dragon of scales white as snow but fire greater than the strongest hellflame, awaken from the edge of the universe to bring this world to absolute silence! Xyz Summon! Rank 4! Evolzar Dolkka!"
Then out of the vortex came out a huge white dragon, there was fire dancing around it and had blue lines that ran along its body.

"I draw!" Kira looked at the card before looking up. "I'm sorry Jin, but the duel is ending now, I activate from my hand 'Raigeki', your monster is now destroyed!"
A lightning bolt then shot at the face-down monster card on Jin's field leaving him completely defenceless.
"Finish this, 'Evolzar Dolkka', 'Ultimate Conductor Tyranno'!" Kira yelled. Both monsters nodded before they attacked Jin's Life Points directly.

"I lost... again," Jin muttered. He slumped to the floor in a depressed state, he began to mutter words repeatedly as Kira watched with a sweatdrop.
"I'm... gonna leave him to carry on with his business," Kira said to himself. He then walked away from the scene taking off his gazer and de-activating his duel disk.

"I wonder if there's anything to do," Kira asked himself. He was now heading towards his house but he heard something and looked beneath him.
He rose an eyebrow at some kind of strange circle that he was standing on, it was glowing a bright white as his body then began to glow.
"What's happening!" Kira wondered. He covered his eyes with both arms as everything went white, as the light disappeared, Kira was not seen standing at the same spot, he was gone completely.

Kira was now laying down on a grassy field on who knows where. The wind made his hair sway gently as his eyes twitched.
"Ugh~, my head. Where am I?" Kira groaned. He slowly sat up as he rubbed his head with one hand and supported himself with the other. After composing himself, he looked around and saw that he was on a beach. "Where the heck is this?"
"Excuse me." Kira heard a mature voice. He turned to see a man who looked much older than him, the man had a bald head and was wearing some kind of coat. "Who are you? And why are you here?"
"Eh? Oh, my name is Kira Konzaka, and for why I'm here, I don't know, I remember walking down the street when suddenly a strange light teleported me and I woke here." Kira stated.
"I see... well, my name is Chancellor Sheppard, I am the chancellor of Duel Academy." The now known as Sheppard introduced. Kira looked at him and blinked in confusion.
"Duel Academy?" Kira wondered. Sheppard looked at the boy in surprise seeing the confused look he was getting.
"You don't know Duel Academy?" Sheppard asked. Kira shook his head in response and Sheppard began to explain everything about it, Kira was confused about where the heck he was. "So, where do you come from?"
"Uh, have you heard of Neo Den City?" Kira asked. Sheppard shook his head much to Kira's shock, where the heck was he?
"I've never heard of such a place. But, I can't just leave you all alone." Sheppard thought. He then looked at the duel disk that was on Kira's arm, he widened his eyes at how advanced it looked and was intrigued by it. "I know, would you like to join Duel Academy?"
"Join Duel Academy? I'd love to, but, aren't I a little too young?" Kira asked.
"That may be so, but I can bend the rules a bit, you have nowhere to go and I'm not going to just leave a child all on his own, I can tell that you know how to duel considering you have a duel disk," Sheppard stated. Kira looked at his duel disk and nodded. "So, what will your answer be?"
"Sure, I'll join this academy. What do I need to do?"
"You'll have to take an examination test to see what level of skill you have, with that we'll determine which dorm you belong in," Sheppard explained. Kira nodded in understanding as Sheppard turned his back. "Well, let's get going."
"Right!"
