Even Roses Have Dreams

A/N:Hey, this is just gonna be a one-shot until I get my big story up anyways this is my first RWBY fanfic so I hope you enjoy and please be kind in the reviews need to keep motivation right?

Yang:Okay, let's start this story with Yang

Ruby:oh god no

There stood a figure wearing a red cape flowing in the biting cold as the young girl look down on a gravestone with the name all to familiar

Summer Rose

Ruby Rose was that figure, with tears running down her cheek and pleads in her head wanting her mother to be by her side. Ruby has always remember her mother, I mean you can't really forget super mom like Summer was. She rembers the day she left and the words she said

"I'll be back soon little rose"

Ruby can sometimes still her those words in her head almost all the time. As Ruby kneeled there she heard a growl behind her making her turn to face a Beowolf snarling and waiting to attack her. Ruby just smirk threw her tears and draw out Crecent Rose, her sweetheart.

"If you want to play, let's play"Ruby charge at the Grimm with speed and rose petals slicing them in half, cutting off heads. Ruby was doing a good job till even more came. It didn't stop Ruby though, she was slicing them down the faster they appear.

"Ruby!"A all to familiar voice called out as Ruby stop mid-attack and stare where the voice was at

"Yang?!"As Ruby shouted a Grimm slash at Ruby's back leaving three bloody marks on her back

"Ruby NO!"Yang yelled now in a fit of rage with red eyes and activating her own weapons. As Ruby looked up at saw Yang destroying and tossing Grimm one of them somehow sneak behind her and bite her neck making her scream out in pain.

"YANG!"Ruby yelled at her older sister desperately as she was literally eating up by the Grimm leaving a mess of blood on the white snow.

"Yang, not her please not her two"Ruby was in tears as she stood up and face the Grimm as they feast on Yang"YANNNNNNGGG!" Ruby yelled as she rush towards the beasts and killed everyone last one to see her sister barely alive.

"My little sister, you'll be a great huntress"Yang said with a sad smile and close her eyes letting darkness consume her.

"Yang"Ruby cried out her name as a Beowolf has it's arms wide open waiting for the right moment

"Ruby!"Ruby heard her name but she didn't pay attention she sobbed holding Yang in her arms, sobbing with pain of losing someone she loved, losing her sister

"RUBY!"The voice was more demanding as Ruby cried harder she has ever before in her life even from her mother's death.

"RUBY WAKE UP!"

Ruby sat up with a gasp slipping through her lips and hot tears running down her cheeks. She turned her head to the a familer blond that had concern lilac eyes.

"Yang!"Ruby whisper/shout throwing her arms around the elder sister's neck sobbing her name out again

"Shhh, it's okay, I'm here"Yang sister instincts kicked in as she climb on Ruby's bed and wrap her arms around her"Bad Dream?"Ruby just nodded against Yang's neck. Yang held tighter to Ruby as she took several shaking breaths.

"C-can you stay with me?"Ruby ask quietly as Yang answer

"I'll never leave you"Yang said starting to hum a lullaby for Ruby to go back to sleep as she curled up on Yang's side. As Ruby was in deep slumber Yang's humming stop as she smile and slip down the blankets herself, holding her sister close to her whispering one last word before meeting the peaceful darkness.

"Never"

Yang:RUBY!

Ruby:What?!

Yang:IF YOU EVER HAVE A NIGHTMARE COME TO ME GOT IT?!
