You are mad.

All you want is to go home. You are only minutes away from reaching your destination. She presses the gas, speeding forward. You feel yourself lurch forward on impact, bracing your hands on the dash because you forgot your seatbelt. You get aggravated, this will only delay your trip home, and you were really looking forward to dinner that night. You can't see through the white mist the airbags have created, and it's hard to breathe.

Before you can realize what is happening the car is moving again, this time faster.

"I can't see anything!" You hear her say from the driver's seat. You can make out a silhouette; you see her let go of the wheel.

You scream, because you know something bad is about to happen. Everything slows down around you, your breathing is slow and your scream is drawn out.

You hear the sound of metal crushing. You feel wetness around your head, and it hurts. Your legs are numb. You are stuck in the floorboard of the car, you can't move. You open the door to yell for help. You are scared.

Terrified.

All you wanted to do was go home.

A/N: this is short because I wrote it quickly, and it has nothing to do with Twilight. It also has not been edited.

It is a true story about what happened to me two years ago, I broke my femur in half and was in the hospital for two weeks. I missed about a year of school as well. I've had 3 surgeries on my knee since and 2 years of physical therapy. I've never gone into detail about what happened and what I remember, and might not ever. This wasn't a very detailed writing because I just didn't want to. But I did need to get my emotions out right now….so that's what I did.

I'm sorry for going 'emo' on you for a min.

Ps. Nothing against 'emo' people.
