this is my new story- a short clefable. It is my first one- shot. This story features a cleffa that falls from the stars in search of friendship. and the best move in pokemon history.
High up in space where cleffa jump and play together in the never ending moonlight, a small cleffa wonders what is below the whispy clouds and vast oceans of the poke earth.
"what… is down there?" she wondered.
"let's do this right." she hoped.
"metronome."
She wagged her pudgy finger and she began to rocket down to earth. The move she had used was flame charge.
Off in the distance, far from cleffa, the moon dimmed two shades darker.
She landed with a boom. Cleffa stood up and took a look at the world around her. Lakes shimmered. Grass danced in the breeze. Cherry blossoms glinted. This world was magnificent! Suddenly, cleffa hunched over with a moan. The tip of her left ear pixilated and floated away on the breese. Rain began to pour and all poor cleffa could do was curl into a ball and moan as tiny parts of her disappeared.
A few hours later, a buneary found poor cleffa and brought her to a cottage in the eterna forest. Buneary fed her warm soup and moist, buttery rolls. She layed her on a blanket and covered her with a wool blanket. Buneary lit a fire and sat on a stool next to cleffa all night.
The next morning, cleffa was missing her tail and most of her ears.
"you… saved me." Cleffa could only manage a whisper.
"I know that we just met, but you seem special." Said buneary with the tips of her mouth forming a grin.
That night, cleffa was just a half- pixilated blob with a pouf of hair and an arm. The moon was glowing so dark, that It was barely noticeable. She picked up a Pidove feather quill and dipped it in inkay ink. She picked up a piece of parchment.
Dear buneary, she wrote as she disappeared,
I know we just met, but I must leave. Do not take this the wrong way, but, our friendship was short- lived but, for but for a good reason. The moon needs me. My family needs me. I just want you to know that I would not leave if I did not have to. After I sort things out, I will try my hardest to come back and find you again. Do not read this note and try to forget about me. Instead, look at the stars and if you are lucky, then you will see me.
Cleffa
Cleffa left by using metronome and repaired the moon and gradualy became whole again. She never forgot buneary even though she was unable to meet her again.
A few years later, buneary was now a lopunny and was sitting on her porch re- reading cleffa's note.
"oh cleffa! I was lucky to meet you! But I didn't even get to say good b-b- bye!" she sobbed as she looked up at the stars. There was a pattern in the stars-
+ + + cleffa.
