I've done several outlines on this, came up with several ideas, and now I believe I'm ready to share this with the world of FanFiction! Hope you enjoy! (There aren't enough Stryker stories on here). I'm a HUGE fan of Mortal Kombat, but it belongs to Netherrealm Studios and Warner Bros…. And not me sadly.
Prologue
Screams and shrills roared throughout the once peaceful streets of New York City as people tried desperately to escape with their lives intact. Very few were able to do that. Denizens from another world invaded New York through a strange portal that opened from below
the streets. No one ever expected this to happen. People claimed it was Armageddon, others claimed it was an alien invasion. Not even Kurtis Stryker could comprehend what was happening. His soul had been spared once before to protect Earthrealm. Was it happening
again? No,the citizens weren't having their souls stolen…they were being…Eaten alive. He tried his best to protect them, but a shadowy figure erupted and ambushed him. Stryker fought as well as he could, but the figure was much too powerful. Another figure stood
behind the attacking one and ordered his enforcer to finish off Stryker. This was it…this was how he was going to die. His eyes closed, focusing on the screams surrounding him. He failed his city. He failed himself. He failed to protect anything…and now it was time to die. As
he cursed himself with his failures, a blast of lightning suddenly hit the city. Sounds of battle mixed with the cries for help. The figures noticed this and quickly retreated. Stryker, though dazed and bruised, could see the attackers retreating. He fell to one knee as he tried
to regain his composure. Before he could even try to stand up again, sharp, sudden pains hit his chest. He coughed up a large amount of blood onto the cracked street of his destroyed city. Another figure began to approach him. Before he could even make out who this
new individual was, the light in Stryker's eyes dimmed and he fell to the ground.
Again, this is a first try kind of thing. Reviews and criticism would be MUCH appreciated :p. HELP ME BECOME A GREAT WRITER!
