Time era: after Gabriella forgave Troy, but before the championship games.

"Oh, oh, cant catch me, oh, oh, oh" Troy said while dribbling the basket ball adding his own sound affects, "He shoots," Troy throws the ball, " He scores!" Troy raised both hands in the air and turned to face the 'crowd'. When he turned around he was met by the basketball team, the Gang (Kelsi Ryan sharpay Jason Zeke Taylor and Chad), his father, his mother and Ms Montez, all trying to suppress laughter. "Uh…you know I need to thank the janitor for greasing those squeaky doors." The crowd burst into laughter.

"I got that on tape!" Ryan called. Everybody crowded him wanting to see me make a fool of myself again, and ignored me. When the group squashed together Ms Montez came out to talk to me,

"Troy, um, could you go to my house please? Gabi…um wanted you to pick something up." Ms Montez said. Troy caught the unsure ness in Ms Montez's voice so he hurried out, ignored by the group. He hopped in his jeep and drove to his best friends' house.

Gabriella was sitting on her fathers' side of the bed clutching his old pillow letting tears cascade down her face. (By now, you should know why she's sad) she heard the door bell ring but didn't make a move to open it.

"Gabi-ella!" Troy called through the door. Gabriella couldn't help but open the door. She slowly walked down the steps taking her time, and wiping her tears away.

"Yes?" she asked very quietly as she opened the door a crack.

"Your mom told me to come over," Gabriella closed her eyes as she felt tears come up. She shook her head.

"I don't need you." Gabriella said a little too harshly.

"Gabi, I care, tell me what's wrong." Troy told her. Gabriella felt tears seep through her closed eyes.

"He's gone." She said,

"Who's gone?" Troy asked

"He just packed up and left." Gabriella opened her eyes and let the tears fall through,

"Gabi, who?"

"Didn't even stop to tell us there was someone else,"

"Gabriella, who are you talking about?"

"He just left. My daddy just left. Never had any time for me anyways." Now Troy knew why she said that, during her sweet sixteen her dad failed to shown during the father/daughter dance and she had to dance with her mom's brother. Troy tried to open the door wider but Gabriella firmly held it where it was.

"Never was there," she said and started crying, "Never." Gabriella firmly closed her door and locked it.

"Gabriella open this door!" Troy called.

"No, men are stupid." Troy ran around back and was about climb the ladder that he brought over but found that is was on Gabriella's balcony. Troy put his arms around the tree and started to climb up it. He heard Gabriella talking to herself in her room. As soon as he climbed onto her balcony he opened the door to Gabriella's room to find her playing around with a razor. As the door creaked open and Gabriella's head shot up.

"What!?" she snapped

"Gabriella, I want to help. Com'ere" Troy opened his arms to Gabriella. Gabriella used all of her will power not to run into his arms and sob her little heart out. Gabriella was running the side of the razor up and down her skin making sure not to cut her self…yet.

"I'm not leaving. Never." Troy said. Gabriella lost all of her will power and threw the razor away flinging her into his arms. Troy rubbed her back as she cried into his shirt.

"Never." Troy whispered
