Waiting
A quiet little poem authored by none other than X.x.siriusly.lily.x.X
Summary: Ginny reflects on life without Harry when he's off with Ron and Hermione fighting Voldemort. (Ginny POV)
Where are you...?
How are you...?
Are you alive to come back to me...?
Everything I do, I do for you,
Can't you just see that it's true?
Every moment that you're gone
You're the only person I think of.
Are you okay, are you alright?
How are you doing tonight?
And I'm here all alone,
Fighting for our side and for you.
Can't you see it hurts me?
Trying to figure out how to act and be.
Just hurry back to how we usually are,
Try to be for us, not for them.
Don't be that person behind that mask
Trying to live up to the fame
Of being our one last chance.
And I'll wait for you,
Wait until you come back.
The sooner you come, come back to me
But I'll be happy waiting for eternity.
I know you're doing what you've got to do,
And I'll wait for you...
But what about me...
Please...
Just promise you'll come back...
Come back to me.
A/N: Hope you liked it! Seriously, tell me in a review what you think. I'm trying to really understand Ginny's feelings and POV. I tried to mix a lot of different styles and I would appreciate any suggestions on how this poem could improve.
Thank you.
