"It's just a nose piercing mum, no big deal. And it's not even permanent like a tattoo is.", I complained

"No, there's no way dad or I would let you go through with this", my mum answered me

I'm Jenny. I am fourteen years old, practically fifteen in three months. I think I'm old enough for a nose piercing. I'm very mature for my age too, just ask my parents. I'm taking all honors classes in high school next year and I never miss a homework assignment or project. I feel like I deserve a little bit of a reward for four years of Catholic school. Whatever, I haven't given up on my mum just yet. At least I had the 100 monkeys concert to look forward to. 100 monkeys was my favorite band ever. This my first concert of theirs I'd be attending and I happened to win some meet and greet passes. I was excited out of my mind and I had invited my friend who also liked them. We weren't that close but we were going to the same high school so I figured we should get along.

When we got to the concert, my friend Nell and I got our passes and followed a man backstage towards the band.

"Dude! We gotta megaphone!", Ben Graupner exclaimed.

"siiick!", I replied

This is how my story started. With the meet and greet.

"hey, I'm Ben G"

"Ben J"

"uncle Larry"

"Jerad"

"and I'm Jackson", the last one said as I hugged them all one by one

"ha-ha, believe me, I know you guys!", I laughed

"Jackson, I saw your criminal minds last night", I teased

"Oh god" he started, "my momma called me the night it came on and said""my friends saw that!"", in his southern accent. I almost died

"um could we please have a picture?", I asked

"sure thing darlin, it means we get to hug again!", Jackson said. Okay, now I thought I would die.

We took the picture I thanked them and Nell and I went back to see the concert. It was AMAZING! Flat the end, they announced that they would stay and sign autographs for everybody. Nell and I quickly got in line.

"hey again!", Ben g said

"y'all remembered us!", I said

"do I hear a southern accent?", Jackson asked

"oh barely. I have a mix of everything. I loved in north Carolina for a year, but I was born and raised in Massachusetts.", I explained

"that's awesome!", Jackson said

"yeah, I love traveling so much. It kit be so much fun being on the road.", I said

"yeah, it is but the long nights can get tiring", he said

"that's what melatonin and five hour energy are for", I quipped A girl behind us cleared her throat.

"I think our times up.", I sad with a hint of sadness in my voice.

"I have to go to the bathroom, meet you there?", Nell asked

"sure thing", I replied

"oh shoot, um hey why don't you hang back stage with us for a while after this?", Ben j offered.

"no, you're shitting me", I said

Jerad laughed and said, "Naw, it's no problem. We love getting to know our fans."

"yeah, sure! Thanks so much!", I said

"no problem darlin, well meet you at the stage door in five", uncle said.

"I'll be there!", I said, running off to meet Nell

"hey tell your parents my dad came to pick me up okay?", I said and ran off

"wait what!", she yelled back at me but I was already on my way to the monkeys
