Okay all, I just got this random notion in my head the other day, "hey! What if Ravenpaw had to go to SkyClan and live there? Then he became leader, and all!" "great thought me!" "Oh, don't mention it!" "'but I must, it's so great!" "Well…you have a point"….Um…yeah, and I might add this is from Ravenstar's POV…. At least some of it is….not all.
I DO NOT OWN THE WARRIORS SERIES! MY GAWSH!
Ravenstar lounged in the warm Green-leaf sun, watching over his beloved Clan. SkyClan was his Clan now, and even though he did miss ThunderClan, he felt a much stronger connection to this one, his, as he reminded himself often.
A black and white cat, not much bigger than a kit ran up to Ravenstar, "Dad! Gentleheart told me I can have a break, and I thought you could tell me how you came to SkyClan?"
Ravenstar sighed and looked at the hopeful gaze that was being emitted by his daughter, a medicine cat apprentice. "Oh, alright, Mellowpaw!" he mewed smiling. His ears cocked hearing a rustling in the clump of heather below the tree he was perched on. "You too Callingpaw!" He said as a small gray and white splotched head popped out of the bushes, "You don't have to eavesdrop to hear a good story!"
Smiling brightly, Ravenstar's son climbed into the tree with twinkling blue eyes. "Thanks dad!" He sat comfortably next to his sister, his gaze trailing to a plump squirrel, sitting on the ground, almost waiting to be caught. His tail twitched, but he didn't leave in the chance he might miss his dad's tale.
Following his son's blue-eyed stare, he gave Callingpaw a mischievous look. "Go get it, a good meal and story is better than a story alone."
Immediately, Callingpaw leaped onto the squirrel, giving it a quick bite to the neck. With the squirrel in his mouth, he leaped back into the tree, and placed it in front of his father.
"Dig in!" Ravenstar meowed, and took a squirrel leg to eat himself. He finished the leg in a few bites and waited for his children to finish. When they finally looked up, licking their lips, eyes twinkling, Ravenstar began.
"Well, it all started when…"
OH! This is awesome! I've just decided to mingle this with problems and such that are happening in Ravenstar's life at the present.
