Redoing this! x3

And I am aware there is a SkyClan, but... meh o_o

Also, I may get some of the cats' appearances wrong, if I do, please tell me :)

Chapter ONE

The clearing was hollow and cold. Star tapped his pure white claws against the rock, making an eerie clicking sound. Millions and millions of fox-lengths away, four cats heard them.

Thunder lifted his head. There was an odd sound. He stood, the muscles rippling beneath his grey pelt. His yellow eyes scanned the underbrush, but nothing moved. Thunder padded slowly, his massive paws surprisingly making almost no sound. The sound continued. Slightly panicked, Thunder streaked up a tree and crouched on the highest branch, watching under him. Nothing. Thunder's fur began to rise, and out of nowhere, lightning crackled and thunder boomed. But no rain came. The loud noise of thunder drilled the tomcat's ears as he backed away slowly. But where to run?

Shadow slinked through the shadows, her yellow eyes piercing and sharp. Mice, frog, starlings, thrushes, robins, blue jays, they all scattered at the sound of the jet-black she-cat. But she wasn't planning on hunting. "What's that noise!?" Shadow spat, glaring in every direction. The clicking continued. "Who dares trespass on my territory?" Shadow snarled, unsheathing her claws and baring her fang-like teeth in a snarl. Nothing. Shadow glanced around, slightly panicked as she realized she was too deep in the forest to see the moon. The moonlight dimmed, and Shadow was left in pitch-black darkness. Whispers she couldn't make out surrounded her. She weakly slashed at the air, hoping to find her target. Again, nothing. Shadow crouched, her eyes wide with fear. Her, ruler of darkness and shadows, was being tortured by her own familiarities. But where to run?

Wind slipped through the heather. His white-and-light grey pelt bristling. What was that sound? He broke out in to a run, speeding through his territory. His paws thudded confidently over the ground, reaching amazing speeds. Anyone would be jealous of his slim form, and outstanding speed. Wind hissed. What in the name of catmint was that sound?! He was losing his temper, and he stopped, standing tall. Wind was also very tall, and he could see until the horizon on his flat landscape. Now he was scared. Wind looked around frantically, seeing nothing, yet hearing that sound. The handsome tom now felt exposed. He tried to back away, hoping to find something to hide behind, Nothing. Wind looked around again. He wanted to get away... But where to run?

River lapped at the cool water. Such a hot day, she thought as the small, light grey she-cat stretched. Then the clicking started. River whizzed around, thinking a pebble had slipped and made a sound by hitting against another pebble. The riverbank was empty. River stepped further into the water, where she felt safer. Something nipped at her back paw, and the she-cat turned sharply. Nothing. River unsheathed her claws and swam out to the middle of the river. Surprisingly, the water had turned icy cold, and the small cat shivered. She tried to swim back to shore, the clicking continuing it's pattern. The water tugged at her fur and she felt heavy. River managed to get to shore, but her wet fur clung to her, making her cold. The water never did that. River looked around with fear; her own joy had betrayed her. She felt like this was very bad... But where to run?

So short... I apologize! But stay tuned! :D
