James Potter:

1. James Sirius Potter, while similar to his namesakes, was far more alike to his Uncle Ron. He blundered often and said the wrong thing, he was always grinning and boy did he have a temper. For this reason, Ron was his favorite uncle.

2. James wishes that he and Albus were as close as they were when they were younger (which even then wasn't very close). He's always had Fred, Fionnoula, and Alice, so he never really sought out the friendship with his brother that he might have otherwise. That's not to say they aren't close, because they're friends and brothers, but he doesn't have the relationship he does with Fred (who's admittedly more of a brother than Albus is).

3. James loves Teddy and Victoire. After Fred they're his favorite family members. Teddy is the awesome older brother and Victoire is the silly oldest cousin who has always been there. They're the first people he turns to when he needs advice or help that Fred, Fin or Alice wouldn't be able to give.

4. He's always got on shockingly well with his younger sister LL. She's loud, funny, and quick to join in the jokes. He wants to play the protective older brother with her, but she's a nasty bat bogey hex (thanks mum) and she's not afraid to use it. He made that mistake once, and only once, when he threatened a boy who liked her and then spent the rest of the day with bogeys flapping about his face (every time he had the hex removed she would hex him again, eventually he gave up and just left them there). Along with the bat bogey's were numerous other pranks like switching his toothbrush and shampoo so his teeth and hair changed color. The girl was ruthless.

5. James has alwaysalways known he wanted to be a Quidditch player. Professors told him to have a backup plan in case no one scouted him, but he just knew he would make it. Besides, a backup plan would have meant putting serious work into school. And who needed a backup plan when you have an uncle who runs the most successful wizarding joke business in the world?

6. James hates coffee. Hates. Fionnoula has a cup of coffee every morning and he absolutely refuses to kiss her until she's brushed her teeth.

7. Fionnoula won't let him grocery shop. Apparently every time he goes he comes back with too much junk and not enough fruit. Don't let her know, but he did this on purpose because he also hates grocery shopping.

8. James insisted on having a tee-vee in his and Fionnoula's home. Moving pictures that speak! It's better than magic in his opinion. His favorite show is Dr. Who.

9. James's boggart is a cow. Yes, it's embarrassing. No, he doesn't want people to know. When he was 7 he and his family went on a mini-vacation to a farm. He saw a cow giving birth which permanently scarred him and then when he went to pet another cow that cow bit him. So, no, he does not like cows and they're a perfectly reasonable fear, thankyouverymuch.

10. The Daily Prophet loves to post embarrassing stories about him. James's favorite headline was "HEIR TO POTTER FORTUNE!? THIS REPORTER THINKS HE LOOKS MORE LIKE FAMOUS ROCK STAR AUGUSTINE NIGHTINGALE". He has no idea who Augustine Nightingale is and the headline made him laugh so hard he cried. His Aunt Hermione was furious and muttered something about beetles and jars before storming off.
