~Reader's P.O.V.~
Wrapping your arms around your brother's legs was all you could do to prevent him from walking out the front door. "Please! Please don't go brother! I don't want to be an only child!" Your brother froze and looked down into your pleading eyes, "Only child? What are you talking about?" You started to cry, "W-What if y-you leave and n-never come back? Y-You might die a-and I-I might n-never see you again!" Your older brother wrapped his arms around you and hugged you close.
"(y/n), I'm not leaving for the army 'til tomorrow, we can spend today together if that's what you want?" You slowly nodded. He petted your head sweetly, "We can go to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza since I know you love that place, would you like that?" You looked up at him and smiled, letting him know that's exactly what you wanted.
~Time Skip~You and your brother arrived at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, you two ate pizza and played games and were just having the best time. At least that's what it seemed like, but the truth is when your brother's back was turned you frowned or let a few tears slide down your face even when you were with him you put on a fake smile so your brother wouldn't worry about you. You were trying your best to have a good time, but how could you have fun knowing your brother would soon be gone.
Just then your brother's phone rang, "Sorry (y/n) I need to take this, I'll be back in a bit." He kissed your head and walked off to a more quiet place in the pizzeria. Once he was out of sight your dropped the fake smile and broke down crying, 'I know he's trying to protect me but I know what's gonna happen...he's going to die! He's going to die and I'll never see him ever again!" You cried even harder and buried your face in your hands as tears ran down your face.
~Freddy's P.O.V.~
After another song was done I looked out at the crowd to see all the happy and smiling faces of my children, but upon closer inspection I noticed one child was not happy. Luckily it was break and we were allowed to interact with the children, I stepped down off the stage and walked over to the crying child. Hearing her quiet sobs broke my metallic heart, "My child was it wrong?" The child looked up at me with red eyes and a tear streaked face.
I knelt down and offered her a napkin to dry her tears, she took it and wiped away her tears. "Hush now my child, just tell old Freddy what troubles you." She hugged me and told me everything, apparently her brother was leaving tomorrow for the army and she was afraid he would never come back. "I see. Well the way I see it you can't always look on the bad side of things, if you do the good things in life will pass right by you."
"But...my brother...I'll miss him." I gently petted her head. "I know but you must cheer up and have fun with him while you still can, before he has to go. Your brother is probably a strong guy, I bet one day you'll see him again and you won't even recognize him." The child smiled and even giggled, "Yeah." I chuckled and grabbed my hat and placed it on her head, it was a bit big on her and covered her face. She giggled and pushed it up so she could see.
My break was over and I needed to report back to the stage, I smiled and told her. "Remember, be happy." I walked back to the stage and kept my eye on her, I saw her brother walk over to her. "Hey (y/n) sorry I took so long, where'd you get that hat?" The child looked at me and I quietly mouthed the words, 'Cheer up.' She nodded and I could tell she was truly happy, as long as I could cheer up a child I always had a reason to smile.
THE END!
