Sometimes he thinks about Cub, and he wonders. He wonders what on earth the kid's mixed up in, and he wonders how the government allowed him to get involved. He didn't know much about the kid, he had been told it was classified information. But he remembers, he remembers the look that used to come on Cub's face during training. It had been fear. At the time he had presumed that the kid was scared of himself and the rest of the SAS team. But looking back he realises that Cub was scared of something more, he was scared of the unknown. He doesn't understand, is not sure he even wants to, but knows that he should try to, for Cub's sake.
