I'm not sure if this ismore of a drabble or a poem. It's from Danny's point of view, reflecting on his life between the accident and Phantom Planet. I promise that at least one of the other stories will be updated Saturday. I am working on them, but school starts this week and I'm not going to have as much time to actually type them. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this.

Disclaimer: I neither own nor make money off of Danny Phantom.

Freshman Year

The weight of the world was on my shoulders,

Each day brought a burden I could not bear alone.

If it weren't for my sister,

If it weren't for my friends,

My mind would have snapped.

There were usual worries,

Homework,

Parents,

Chores,

Grades,

Friends.

But how many freshmen

Have to stress over saving the world from ghosts,

Or keeping a secret identity?

How many freshmen

Have been hunted and despised,

By their parents,

Or their girlfriend?

I am too young to worry about these things,

Too young to worry about turning evil.

I am much happier now,

My secret has been revealed,

But my parents still love me,

My ghost half flies unhunted..

Who would have thought

That ghost hunters could love the ghost in their family?

I will not disappoint them,

I could not live with myself.

This is where I belong,

With them and with Sam.

Forever protecting them from ghostly invasion.
