For Elaine who did a wonderful job meeting her goals in round 9 of The Houses Competition!

Oh, well imagine.

Ginny Weasley stood behind a closed set of doors, adorned in a beautiful white wedding dress, elegant jewelry hanging off of her. It was her mother's insistence that she wear the jewelry - though she was sure Molly would feel differently about the matter if she knew where the expensive items came from.

As I'm pacing the pews in a church corridor.

She wrung her hands nervously, peeking through the crack in the door to see an entire church filled with friends and family. There in the front sat a man with blonde hair, whom she'd come to love since the war was over. Who she adored, and wished to be with forever. Tears welled up in her eyes, because Draco wasn't who she was marrying.

And I can't help but to hear, no I can't help but to hear an exchanging of words.

The redhead tried to swallow the lump in her throat, push it down as the music began to play. The doors opened and out she walked, a brilliant smile on her face to hide her inner turmoil. Her gaze caught Draco's, and she saw him smile wryly at her, before he turned back to look at the front.

"What a beautiful wedding," says a bridesmaid to a waiter.

Ginny stands at the altar, looking into the loving eyes of her fiance, guilt filling her because how could she be lying to Harry? Yet she stood with a smile plastered onto her face, as she said her vows. People whispered about how her eyes were teary, how happy she must be to have gotten that emotional. But she felt far from happy in that moment.

"And yes, but what a shame,

"Do you, Harry Potter, take Ginny Weasley to be your lawfully wedded wife?" asked the priest, who stood with a smile on his face. This was the most talked about wedding in the Wizarding world, everyone loved the two as a couple. Well, everyone but Ginny. She was in love with Draco, though that was something that could never be.

"I do."

What a shame the poor groom's bride is a,

"And do you, Ginny Weasley, take Harry Potter to be your lawfully wedded husband? In sickness and in health?" She didn't, of course she didn't. How could she when she so clearly loved another? But she looked at Harry, looked at her family and friends. They wanted this, so she would have to as well. Maybe, if she forced Draco out of her mind, then she'd be able to be happy in this marriage. It was worth a shot after all. So pushing down her own desires, she said what would make the rest of the wizarding world happy.

"I do."
