Hello! This is my AU Twisttale. Funfact: It was originally going to be called Floweytale. Google search, name was taken. Thought about Underflowey. Sounded terrible, so no. Thought about Twistedtale, google search, taken. So next best thing, Twisttale.
Frisk's knees shook as she looked at the beast she was facing, but kept strong. She was full of determination. Everything had happened in one flash.
'We could be... like a family..' Asgore's eyes sparkled happily. Frisk had been so happy at that moment...
All of a sudden, being impaled by vines shook her out of her trance. She screeched, and her hp had been lowered by half. Jumping around, she had used a toy knife she picked up in the ruins to damage him.
1 HP. This was going to take forever. Or maybe, just maybe.. It wouldn't ever end. She shook those thoughts out of her mind, as it fired a laser out of it's mouth and began making circles of friendliness pellets around her. Seeing the red shadow of the pellets about to come, she tried to dodge, but dodged a second too late. Dead. She was greeted with a game over screen that she had not knew.
That's when she noticed something. The little tubes which usually held the souls were chained up with extra protection. It didn't strike her as odd, but she kept going.
Dodge this, dodge that, get hit, game over... This cycle had been going on for a while now, and it was catching up with her. Not physically, but mentally. Her determination had began to falter on the 44th try... Occasionally the tubes holding the souls would glow. She would be filled with determination for a few seconds, but nothing ever came of it. By now, she had lost count of how many tries this was. Her soul was now mostly black, rather then red. As she tried and tried more she would often find herself crying everytime he came out, realizing what she was in for.
Eventually, her determination was gone. Her soul was almost completely black with a tiny bit of red remaining at the bottom. Red determination. She realized in horror, staring at game over, that there was no longer a continue option. She tried, hard to continue. But nothing happened. She looked on in horror as Omega Flowey had begun to absorb her soul. She now realized that it was completely black, without Flowey cackled loudly, holding her soul in his vines. 'Reset, reset!' She thought to herself. Nothing. Omega Flowey now had the power to take over the timeline. He now had the power to shatter the barrier.
Author's Note! Sorry for such a short chapter.. I wanted the kind of prologue to this all to be a little bit shorter, so we can get on to the good things.
