She watched from her window as Natsu, Happy and Lisanna went on another mission together. They had been hanging out a lot for the past week. She sighed and slumped against the wall, her eyes welling up with tears. Ever since Lisanna had returned from Edolas, she and Natsu had been attached to the hip. No longer would he come visit her, drag her around on missions or training activities. There was no more Natsu and Lucy, there was only Natsu and Lisanna.
No matter how hurt she was, she could not be mad at him, she completely understood his perspective. His first love had finally returned after years of mourning her death, they had a kid for heavens sake! She had only known him for around a year whereas the duo had spent their entire childhood together. Mirajane had shown her the pictures of the guild when they were all younger, oh how happy they looked back then! Even at a young age, she could see the chemistry that had blossomed between Lisanna and Natsu, there was no denying it, they were perfect for each other! She sighed again and slid down her bedroom wall, knees bent and crying in her bed.

Lucy went to the guild to search for a job to pass the time. Just because her partner had ditched her for someone else, didn't mean that she didn't need to pay her bills! She found an easy Job that had a reward for 80,000 Jewels, enough to pay this months rent. She happily took it from the board and was about to call for Natsu when she remembered that he was gone. The smile slipped from her face but she tried to remain strong. She skipped over to Erza, Gray, Cana and Juvia who were playing cards.
When she arrived at the table she could see that they were all whispering and laughing.
"Guys?" She said but none of them turned around to see her. "Guys!" She repeated louder and only then did they put down their cards and turn towards her.
"Hi Lucy," Said Gray "What's that mission for?" "Oh, just beating up a couple monsters, do you guys wanna come and help?" The group exchanged weird looks and Erza piped up saying,
"Uhhhh… Sorry Lucy, I'm kinda busy right now…" She looked somewhat remorseful. Lucy's shoulders slumped. Of course they were busy, they were busy having fun without her.
"Ummmm… sorry love rival but Gray sama and I are busy as well… We are going to the beach later!" Juvia exclaimed while Gray just nodded sheepishly.
Lucy turned to Cana but she was no longer there, instead she was at the bar talking to Mirajane. Am I really that boring and irrelevant that you can even try and help me, Lucy thought to herself but in the end she just nodded to the trio and headed out the doors.

UGH! LUCY KICK! REGULAS IMPACT! Loke and Lucy huffed as they punched their way through the hoard of monsters but they just kept coming. Suddenly, a metal bat flew out of nowhere and hit Loke on the head. "Sorry…. Lucy…." He grunted out before disappearing back to the celestial realm. This was a bad idea, she had no idea how many monsters there actually were but she took this job alone anyways. She kept fighting but she was exhausted, she had no more energy to call on any of her other spirits to help her. Her vision started to blur and dark spots danced around in her eyes. She took one step and fainted onto the grass below.
