                                    The Song of The Silver Spun Fox

Sing in the silver fog of night,

Voice of the foxhound, bellow-bright,

Sing me the song of fox,

Wary, and watching the moon-dipped rocks.

Quivering nostril,

Lifted paw,

Sniffing the mist,

For the smell of dog.

Sing me moonbeams,

Silver-white,

Sing me the song

Of the fox tonight.

Sing me the story,

Old, old, old,

Of a fox that runs

And a moon that's cold

In the valley,

Near the speckled rocks,

Sing me the run,

Of the silver spun fox.
