Well my last short story before I focus on my main story. Yusei and Aki don't seem to have any more time together but Yusei pulls off a miracle. Enjoy and Review please. Also: thanks to everyone who reviewed my stories and all that. Just wanted to give a thank you.
A Time For Everything
Yusei has been very busy lately. Being the King does come with a very busy schedule. Meanwhile, Aki is at home most of the time taking care of the house. She's also developed a bond with Ruka, keeping her at home. One day as Yusei comes home, Aki is standing near the door waiting for him.
"Yusei we need to talk. I think you know what it's about."
"Aki I-"
"Look you're gone most of the day and we never spend any time together anymore. I'm really sick of never being able to bond with you anymore. I just-"
"But Aki, you knew this was bound to happen."
"Yea but I didn't think it would be this bad."
"Alright, I'll try to cancel my schedule to make time for us."
"Good."
The next day Yusei is once again gone but this time Aki has no idea where he is. She waits for him most of the day and by bedtime she is furious but decides to just sleep it off. Yusei returns really late and just gets into bed quietly. He has a big surprise but he also knows that there will be complications tomorrow but he knows what to do, and decides to just go to sleep.
The next morning Yusei wakes up but finds that Aki is not next to him. He goes to the kitchen and sees her sitting there, very disappointed.
"So Yusei, what happened to our "time together" yesterday. Did you just decide to forget or something? Yusei I want an answer now!"
Yusei expected this answer and gave her a calm reply.
"Well I was busy planning something yesterday. I guess I should tell you now."
He hands her a pamphlet. She opens it and finds a guide for a trip for 2 to a nice cruise. She then lets out a loud cheerful scream and wraps her arms around Yusei and assaults him with kisses.
"Oh Yusei! I'm so sorry I yelled at you. I had no idea."
"I just wanted to surprise you."
"But what about your duels? Don't you duel some of the top duelists tomorrow?"
"Aki there's a time for everything. Duels, dinner, sleep, and all that stuff. But for you, I'd give up all that."
"Aw, Yusei."
Yusei and Aki kiss. They go to the living room and think about what their life has been like so far.
"Yusei it's so sweet of you to do this."
"Yea well, I do what I can."
"You know, how we met was so strange."
"What do you mean?"
"Well the first time we met face to face, we were just staring at each other," Aki said playfully.
"Well, I guess you just really liked my looks."
"So why did you stare at me."
"Well... uh-"
"Well?" Aki asked expectingly.
"I guess you were... kind of.... cute?"
"Aw! That's so sweet of you."
Yusei was blsuhing a little bit but so was Aki. They kiss again.
"So how did you cancel your duels?"
"Well... let's just say I got some "helpful" people on my side."
In the stadium we see Yusei but under the outfit, it's really Jack.
