An Percy and Annabeth moment

Almost there" You are a idiot, you know that?" said Annabeth to Percy they were at the lake, dipping there feet in the cool liquid relaxing like normal teenagers should, not worried about the end of the world or what kronos was doing.
" Oh yeah?" asked Percy, smiling, his black messy hair was being tossed around with the wind, showing his prominent sea-green eyes, " how am I an idiot?"
Annabeth tossed back her head ad laughed, "You just are!" and with that she quickly stood up and splashed Percy with water, Percy laughed and quickly got up.
Both of them were running through the sand, laughing and having fun, not caring about anything in the world, just enjoying the moment like they should.
Finally out of the breath, Annabeth stopped, panting, but then just realizing that she was at the part of the forest where she wasn't familiar with, she suddenly got nervous.
" Percy?" she cried out, she fingered her dagger ready to attack, when suddenly she heard a crack behind her.
She spun around and lunged, " YAAAH!" " Wise Girl! Its me!" cried out a voice.
Annabeth stopped just in time to notice her best friend on the ground, underneath her, on the green forest floor.
" Percy! Don't scare me like that seaweed brain!" Percy laughed nervously and said then seriously " maybe you shouldn't scare me like that!" Annabeth blushed and then said defensively" its not my fault you have bad reflexes!"
Percy hen laughed sarcastically and said " sorry! Next time when my best friend tried to kill me I'll try to remember that!"
"You're not supposed remember! That's why they are called reflexes!"
" Well, don't suddenly attack me!"
"Well don't suddenly scare me!"
" It is not my fault that you have an paranoid nature!"
"Oh! Now I am paranoid!"
"Yeah you are!"
"Excuse me for trying to live!"
The two teenagers than stopped arguing, and burst out laughing, Annabeth rolled of Percy and laid down next him, looking at the trees, the sun peeping out, from the leaves.
" Y'know wise girl…" said Percy, Annabeth turned her head to see Percy better and said back" What seaweed brain?" Percy smiled at the nickname, and continued " I am really glad you're here" Annabeth smiled teasingly, she positioned herself on her elbows and put her face directly over Percy's and said " Of course, you should be, who else is going to save your butt?"
"Ha. ha, I forgot to laugh" said Percy sarcastically, but then said seriously with a gentle face , he raised his hand to cup her warm cheek " But I am really glad you are here with me"
Annabeth, stayed silent not saying for once a sarcastic comment, instead he looked directly at Percy sea green eyes, with her own sparkling gray ones.
She slowly leaned down, not noticing what they were doing, Percy's sea smell went through her nostrils, and Percy smelled her apple and lavender smell, both of then leaned closer, anticipating the moment.
They a millimeter apart, both of their breaths quickening, just a little closer and she would taste those lips again, just a little closer, suddenly the dinner horn signaled the campers to come back to the camp.
They both stopped just realizing what they were doing and quickly let go. Both of them stood up, blushing bright tomato red, with twigs and leaves in their hair.
" Um… we better get going…" muttered Percy, he dusted himself off, Annabeth only nodded, and stated to walk on ahead.
Annabeth thought one thing on the way back to camp, with her best friend on her right side " I was almost there…"
