Maybe
Asuka Kazama just sat there, completely bruised and beaten. She had just finished a fight, but ended up losing miserably. Due to the horrible fight with Hwoarang, half of her face was swollen and one of her eyes were swollen shut. Her lip was bleeding and there were bruises all over her body. The female didn't care about the huge amount of pain she was in though, she was mildly satisfied; she got to break Hwoarang's arm for it. Asuka enjoyed the way he had howled in agony when she heard his bone snap.
Grinning to herself, people gave her frightened and odd looks as they went by, wondering if she had gone crazy. Asuka didn't care though, she only rolled her eyes at them or looked away, not wanting to deal with them at all.
Okay.
Well, how did the fight between her and Hwoarang start? Well, it all started out with Hwoarang accusing her of liking one of his friends, Steve Fox. Asuka still didn't know why she had gotten so choleric about it. Why did she feel the need to become so defensive? Asuka had punched Hwoarang in the nose when he had refused to stop speaking about it.
It turned into a vicious fight.
You see, Hwoarang didn't let anyone get away with punching him, even if it was a girl who punched him. It really didn't matter to the guy, honestly. Everyone had been there watching, cheering, and jeering. Asuka's other friends, Xiaoyu, Miharu, and Jin (Jin was her cousin, but she thought of him as a friend too) were even there. They had tried to stop them, but had failed. Oh, Steve was there as well and he only gave her a disappointed expression when the fight was over.
For some reason, that disappointed look he sent her way made her want to throw up. She felt sick inside and tremendously guilty. Asuka regretted getting into a fight with Hwoarang. Asuka didn't like the disappointment from Steve at all.
What did that mean?
Was she fooling herself into thinking that she didn't like Steve or what? What was happening to her? Was that fight with Hwoarang for nothing?
Sighing dramatically, Asuka put her swollen face in her hands, shaking her head back and forth.
"Doesn't that hurt?"
Asuka tilted her head back, removing her hands from her face. Her heart almost leapt into her throat when she saw who it was that was standing in front of her. It was none other than Steve Fox.
"Steve," blubbered Asuka, alarmed. "What…what are you doing here?"
"I came here to see if you were alright," responded Steve, eyeing her closely and with minimum concern. "It doesn't look like you are. I should take you to a hospital."
Asuka stared at him. "I don't need your help. I don't need to go to a hospital. I'm perfectly fine."
Steve didn't say anything more and he snatched her hand up in his, shaking his head. Asuka's face burned and she tried to protest, but Steve only shook his head and held up a finger to silence her.
Asuka didn't say anything more and allowed Steve to lead her to the hospital, feeling his fingers interlace with hers.
The girl could only bow her head and obey, cheeks burning up like fire.
Okay, maybe she did like him.
She'd have to apologize to Hwoarang tomorrow…hopefully.
