Also, through the entirety of this fic, nobody is going to talk. Instead, their thoughts will be read in the sense of italics. Why this change of pace? No reason at all. :)

Star Butterfly was in the living room, painting an egg using some brushes she "borrowed" from Mr. Diaz. She carefully painted the egg as much as she could, and once she had finished with a particular color she moved on to the next. A lot of colors later, the girl had finally finished her Easter egg.
"It took longer than anticipated, but I'm glad I finished it."
And then, after a short break, she waited for the paint to dry. And once the paint dried, she grabbed the egg and headed for the stairs.
"I hope he likes this!"
(At Marco's Bedroom)
Marco was on his bed, playing a video game and trying his hardest to complete the level. Then Star bursted into the room, Marco jumped in shock, accidentally dropped the game...and when he picked it up, he saw that he had beat the level.
"Yeah! Level completed!"
The boy jumped up and down in his bed while Star watched. The girl giggled as Marco's rejoicing finally came to an end.
"Alright, now that I have rejoiced, let's see why Star's here."
Marco put the video game on his bed and walked to Star. He opened his mouth, but Star stopped him and gestured him to wait as she reached for her back.
"Please don't be a critter she summoned out of nowhere."
Star took out the egg she made from behind her back and she smiled with pride as she showed the egg to him. The egg looked pretty similar to Marco: the upper half had Marco's red hoodied jacket and hair and the lower half had what looked like his dark gray pants. It also had a smiley face painted in it.
"An Easter egg...based on me?"
Marco grabbed the egg and inspected it closely, slowly frowning as he did. Star immediately spotted the boy's smile slowly turning into a frown, looking more and more worried as that happened.
"Oh no, does he hate it?"
The boy glanced at the egg for a few minutes before he turned to Star, who looked extremely worried. He then gave her a thumbs up and a shiny smile, which brightened up the magical princess' mood.
"He liked it!"
Star jumped up and down in excitement. She then saw Marco looking at her with a raised eyebrow and an amused smile, so the girl stopped jumping and blushed in embarrassment. Shortly after that, the duo got closer and embraced each other in a hug.
