New Kids In Town

"Kaya! I can not believe you didn't tell us about this!" Cat exclaimed. Her sister, Kaya, laughed. "It's not as if you 4 told me!" Cat, Hannah, Sandra and Kerri grinned sheepishly. The 5 girls were were standing in an underground hanger, all of them wearing black jeans, trainers and shirts. Cat, looked thoughtfull. "Y'know, I've been thinking." Hannah gasped, "Cat? Thinking? I've never heard those words in a sentence before!" Cat threw a mock punch at the oldest of the group. "I was wondering, who the others are." She picked at the black and white, 5 point star symbol on her shirt, "Dr. C didn't tell me. Do any of you know?"

Kaya fiddled with a strand of her long, pink hair, while Hannah stared at the ceiling, and Kerri and Sandra looked confusedly at each other. Finally, Kerri said, "There are others, besides us?" She frowned. "I never knew that. Proff. E never said anything about there being anyone other than us. Hell – I didn't even know you 4 were pilots, until today." Sandra put her head on one shoulder. "I wonder…" Kaya sighed, "You Wonder, what?"

Sandra glared at her leader, "I wonder if the other 5 go to Gateshall High, like us, well, at the moment…?"

Cat laughed, but Kaya looked thoughtful, "They could," She stated slowly, "But no-one new started at the same time as us, and they're to late to start now, so they'd have to have been there longer than a year."

Hannah sighed, "D'you have any idea how little that narrows it down?" she asked. Cat smirked. "It leaves us aproximatly, 607 students, my age and above."

Sandra glared at Cat nastilly. "well, I think it's safe to assume they're older than 13, don't you? But even then, they'd proberly be better pilots than you are, Cat."

Cat growled, but Kaya stepped between them. "Guys! We stick together, remember?" Sandra and Cat kept glaring 'thank god they're in different classes' Kaya thought. 'Thinking of school…' "We better get going, else we'll be late for class."

Kerri pulled her car keys from her pocket, "I'm driving!"

Hannah took the keys out of her hand, "As tempting as dying is, I'd kinda like to get to school, without taking a detour to hospital, 'kay?"
