Tears
Tears.
A lost one missed,
Cool façade broken,
Her soft brown hair surrounding her,
Covering her emotions from peering eyes.
Tears.
His form cuddled into a ball,
to protect him from the feeling of others,
And to protect others from his feelings.
His glasses lying on a nearby table,
Like another identity cast away.
Tears.
His careful styling,
now in a mess.
His other half away,
separated by a mutual gap.
Tears.
To protect others from harm,
but to leave yourself in the open.
The overwhelming silence that always surrounds,
That people wonder about, but don't fix.
Tears.
A prince fallen from his throne,
His dear Queen ripped away,
sending him into an overwhelming darkness,
hidden by a fake light.
Tears.
Fighting to be yourself,
But too kind to let the other down.
Strong amber eyes reduced to soft puddles of emotion,
Hidden behind love for the other half.
Tears.
A cute form,
broken by emotions locked away.
Lies of happiness surrounding,
Trying to cover emotions of rejection.
Tears.
Like rain dripping down a window.
Instead on warm cheeks.
Breaking of hearts and shattering of emotions.
Shattered personalities.
Tears.
Covered by acts of happiness,
Hiding the dark feelings buried inside.
But none feel whole in a world of darkness.
Trying to heal others before oneself.
