My View of the Horizon
"Auggie, wake up, we're late!" Juliette's muffled voice came from the bathroom. They were late for their morning session with Sarita, the new student at Horizon. Auggie, threw off the covers after he heard Juliette and moaned, irritated. The morning was chilly, just the way he liked it. He just wanted to stay under the covers, with Jules. But her responsibilities came first. She was obligated to give back to Horizon, as it had given to her. Now they were both helping adolescents there with similar problems they faced.
"Auggie, that's it I'm leaving you!"
"I'm coming Jules, I'm coming" Auggie sat up and stretched slightly. He yawned as he stood up and went into the bathroom. As he walked there he noticed Juliette brushing her teeth. She looked beautiful, to him. He walked inside and stood behind her. "Good morning Jules. What's for breakfast?" He asked jokingly. Juliette gave him an annoyed face and Auggie's face went stiff.
"Look, I think I left my papers at the office. I'll meet you there, okay" Juliette muttered
"Mmm-hmm, see you there. In for another rough morning"
