The tale of vault 77:
The vaults were as some of you know social experiments made by a government shadow corporation known as the "Enclave". These experiments were made all with different goals in mind such as vault six which had small doses of radiation pumped in everyday to test its effects on humans over time, and vault the memorable vault one hundred and eight, which had a cloning machine and its entire population was of one man named Gary. Now that we have cleared that up it's time for us to study and observe the adventures and mishaps of the population of perhaps the strangest vault tech vault ever conceived. This vault known as vault seventy seven was populated solely by one man and a crate full of puppets….
the bombs… oh god the bombs! I vividly remember that fateful day that the entire planet destroyed itself with the very monstrosity that we created in 1,945. I remember running to the vault I was assigned, when I saw the first bomb fall on the horizon. I remember how breathless I was when I got in the vault. I remember when the door closed with only me inside, but the one thing I will never forget is the terrified screams of the people left just beyond that dreadful door that kept me in for so long.
When the door closed the first thing I thought about was that I was safe.… I didn't even wonder about the others until I realized how alone I was. Than the screams began and I started to panic, this can't be happening! Only yesterday I was talking with people and everything was fine! How could it be possible that the outside world was gone!? Just him and whomever made it into the other vaults. It just wasn't possible!
"Alright stop messing around, think for a moment!" what did I have lying around in this stupid place? From what I could see there was around three doors leading out of this room and there was no telling what was behind them, but there had to be food around here somewhere. Unless this vault was never stocked in the first place… but that wouldn't make any sense because vaults produce their own food so where was it?
"I guess I'll start with... that door! From what I could tell is that the door was unlocked, so if I touched it... then it should open, but there was no guarantee that whatever was behind it was food….
"screw this!" I slammed on the button and the door opened flawlessly and there was a couple of crates behind it, but with nothing to open them. I was in a huge predicament. I started to look around for a crowbar, but there wasn't one around…. How could I open the crates unless I had a… oh wait there just latched. Let's see what we have here… a tiny castle? There was something underneath the castle, food! Oh sweet baby Jesus in a hand basket, I am saved! (Twice in this matter.)
