So, I just thought of this while reading Uncommon Criminals for like the hundredth time. Basic plot: Kat likes Hale, Nick likes Kat, and Kat thinks Hale doesn't like her, Nick asks her out, Kat says yes, and Hale gets jealous. Enjoy!

"Hale what does this have to do with the heist?"

They were planning on stealing a valuable book from the Morgan library and museum in New York to return it to their rightful owners. But that didn't explain why Hale said he needed Simons help watching someone in the Morgan's cafeteria.

"Well, it doesn't exactly have to do with the heist, it's just…Kat and Nick are having a lunch date and I just want to make sure she's okay." Was all Hale would say before he looked over at the couple. Couple, the very word when used to describe Nick and Kat together made him sick.

"Uh, Hale?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm usually oblivious to this sort of thing, but even I can tell you're doing this because you're jealous of Nick."

"That's ridiculous, why would I be jealous of him?"

"Because Kat's his girlfriend."

"I am no- wait. Kat's his girlfriend?"

"Yeah, he just asked her and she said yes."

"Damn!"

"Yea- Wait! Hale where are you going?"

"Hi, Simon."

"Hi, Angus, hi, Hamish."

"Why's Hale punching Nick in the nose?"

"Nick asked Kat to be Nick's girlfriend, and don't steal my fries!"

"Oh, look Hale and Kat are kissing now! And Nick's storming off in a huff."

"Hi, guys!"

"Hi, Gabrielle."

"So, Kitty Kat and Hale are finally together?"

"Yup."

"It's about damn time."

"Yeah, and will you people stop stealing my fries!"
