Winter In Me
Disclaimer: I do not own Frozen, Rise of the Guardians, or any of the characters. I do not own the song either.
Summary: Elsa and Jack just got married and they are on their honeymoon. They end up talking about they favorite song.
3rd Person POV
"So what's your favorite song snowflake?" Jack looks at Elsa as she shifts in his lap.
"I would have to say Winter In Me by Skylar Grey," she smiles brightly at him.
"Same, I love that song. I remember when I first heard it."
"When was that?" Elsa says curiously.
"I first heard it when I was 10,"
Flashback Jack's POV
I was having a snowball fight with my little sister. My mom took us to the park. We had played and played till it was almost dark. I thought I heard something, so I told my sister to stay where she was while I checked it out. I walked until I saw a little girl singing next to a frosted over tree. She had her hood up, so I couldn't see her. Her voice was beautiful though. I remember hearing every word. Her amazing voice singing each line. It felt like I listened to her for hours. I soon woke up from my daze when she stopped singing.
I was about to confront her, but then my sister found and told me our mom had said we had to leave. I looked back at the girl to find her gone.
I never saw her again.
End of Flashback
Jack's POV
"It's been about 15 years since that happened," I smile at my loving wife.
"Jack, did that happen in Burgess?"
"Yea, how did you know?" I look at with confusion. How could she possibly know where it happened?
"I think I was that little girl," She looks up at me. I'm trying to process what she just said. My mouth is opening and closing, but no sounds are coming out making me look like a fish.
"Elsa, are you sure?"
"Yea, I used to come to the park during winter to relax and sing until I moved."
"Do you want to know something?"
"Sure."
"If it was you then that means you were my first crush," I smile at her. Only now do I realize it has always been her. I have loved her since I was a kid and I still do.
She gives me a smile and embraces me tightly.
Awwwww. I love Jelsa. Ok to the guest reviewer on my other Jelsa story. Yes that could be true, but its unlikely still I have to admire your creativity even though you kinda shot down one of my favorite pairings.
Hope you enjoyed it. :)
Sincerely,
